presents two Halloween road races for the price of one:

The Rolling Bones 5K

Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 9:00 am. Starting and finishing near the Bar Harbor Village Green and running south along Main Street, this course is flat and fast.

Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female age group winners in the following divisions: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. A Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the first open and female high school and middle school teams of 5 or more entrants.

The Ledgelawn Mile

Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 4:00 pm. Run just prior to Bar Harbor’s Halloween festivities, this race starts and finishes on Park Street near the MDI YMCA and runs out and back on Ledgelawn Avenue which will be closed to auto traffic for the evening. All ages and costumes are encouraged!

Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females and 1st place male and female age group winners: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

$8 pre-registration for both races, $10 on Sunday for both races, $5 for just the Mile. Race T-shirts are $10.
