forumbike: 90 min on the trainer Legs felt good, was lower back fatigue that got to me. Cheers! By Runrgurl26 on 21 November, 2008 - 11:58 | Where to run
I'm going to be in Orland for the holiday visiting my in-laws. I usually do a T-Day race thought I'd continue the tradition even though I'll be traveling. I called Cadilac Mt. Sports to see if there are any T-Day races in the area and they suggested I check out this site. I saw a posting for the "Thanksgiving Day Run from Eagle Lake. All paces welcome. A great way to kick off the Holiday!" Can someone let me know where that is? I'm not familiar with the area and how far that might be from my in-law's. They live on Toddy Pond in Orland. I'm thinking this might be the carriage trails around Eagle lake - and if so, if someone could tell me where the start/meeting place is, I'll join! What's your run? Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter if you are a lion or a gazelle - WHEN THE SUN COMES UP, YOU BETTER BE RUNNING. What's your run? "You should know what you stand for, not just what you're against." Whoa, Oh, Oh Good luck today cross-county runners in Portland and Augusta. Run it "Buffalo" style! I'm nervous and excited for tomorrow - I haven't run a XC race since middle school! Any hints for a xc race versus a road race? Are there likely to be mile markers? headed to the CITY in a little while! What's your run? By Judy on 13 November, 2008 - 09:30 | Poem of the Day
