Eden Athletics is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2008 Eden Athletics – Jack Russell’s Steak House Points Series. This Series, now in its second year, allows runners the opportunity to earn points based on their overall, or age-group, finish in each of the twelve races that comprise the Series. At the end of the season, point totals are tabulated for each age-group and “open” category and awards are presented to the top finishers in their respective groups. The Series will kick off next week with the Flat Top 5k on March 29th and will conclude with the Running of the Wildcats 5k on November 8th. Based on the interest we saw develop throughout last season we anticipate that this year there will be a strong “core” group of runners vying for points at all of these events. The races in the Series include: March 29th - Flat Top 5k (Lamoine) By Frank H on 8 August, 2007 - 14:18

Peter Kenlan has informed me that our site will be offline on Saturday, February 9th, from 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Our server is being moved to a new group. This should help to reduce the "slowness" some of you have experienced lately while using the site. Hang on to your early Saturday miles and scy's though, you'll be able to log them a little later that morning. By Frank H on 4 February, 2008 - 19:24
