Tim G's messagesAs noted in the latest issue of Runner's World, here's an interesting website to browse: www.irma.ie See the photographs for a look at the events, people, and terrain. Makes me want to go run on a mountain in Ireland. But a mountain in Maine will suffice for now. By Tim G on 25 June, 2005 - 15:25 | Where to run
Does anyone know what kind of run I could have on Isle au Haut? I was thinking of taking the mail boat out and running anything from 4 to 11 miles. Trails by the ocean would be ok, preferred even, if well marked and they lead me back to where I start. Thanks, Tim By Tim G on 11 May, 2005 - 06:19
Good morning everyone -- I am a member of the club, even though I've not met you in person and my participation on the web is mostly confined to lurking. But still you've all been my companions over the past six months while training for Sugarloaf and I want to say thanks for letting me listen in on the conversations and for all the advice and encouragement you provide in this website. I write a column for the in-house newsletter of Blue Hill Memorial Hospital and I thought this week's edition might interest you. I'm looking forward to meeting you on Sunday, if anyone is still around after about 5 hours! By Tim G on 15 April, 2005 - 14:55
Cool Running.com says my shoes are reaching retirement age. Is there an outstanding running shoe store in the area -- with knowledgeable staff I can entrust with my feet Thanks! |
