Rolling Bones 5k (EA - JR's Points Series Race)Saturday, October 24, 2009. Rolling Bones 5K, Village Green, Bar Harbor. 9:00AM. ------------------------------------------- Eden Athletics of Mt. Desert Island presents two Halloween road races, for the price of one:
The Rolling Bones 5K Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 9:00 am. Starting and finishing near the Bar Harbor Village Green and running south along Main Street, this course is flat and fast. Awards will be given to the 1st place males and females and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female age group winners in the following divisions: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
The Halloween Ledgelawn 400 Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 5:00 pm. Run just prior to Bar Harbor’s Halloween festivities, this 400 meter dash starts at the Mount Desert end of Ledgelawn Ave (which will be closed to auto traffic for the evening) and finishes near Park Street. All ages and costumes are encouraged! Awards will be given to the 1st place males and females and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female age group winners: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 + up.
Cost: $12 (for both races) for pre-registrations received by 10/23; Race-day registrations are $15 for the 5K and $5 for just the 400m. Race T-shirts are $12. Make checks payable to Eden Athletics and mail to 6 Park Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609.

I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting this entry form, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Eden Athletics, Jack Russell’s Steakhouse, the Town of Bar Harbor, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
