Eden Athletics Holiday Party!

Come join the fun!

Details below...

Our end of the year holiday party and point series banquet will be taking place on December 17th at 6pm. We will be gathering at the hall in Otter Creek again this year. Keep your eye on this thread for further details, and don't forget to mark your calendar!!!

Sounds good!

Let folks know what you'd like brought for the gathering.

spagetti and meatballs

I'll bring two sauces, one with meatballs, one with tofu. Plus broccoli/garlic to add to the sauces if you'd like to. Yummy broccoli and garlic.

Party food

Shannon, would you bring a sweet to share?

I'll bring a dessert and appetizer.

Julie if you see this, I LOVE your beer bread, hint hint.

A spiked holiday punch might be fun......Mark??

We still need everything, so......think food.

I can do...

...a taco dip and a dessert. :)

Spiked punch

. . . and you thought of me. OK, I'm game.

I think we'll keep the mulled cider sober though.

mulled cider

think carefully over that one

mulled cider

Is great with Applejack or Cpt. Morgan's to be added at the drinker's discretion. I think Alyie was making a vocabulary joke though, smartypants :)

I'll plan to bring some kind of vegetarian app or side. Maybe I'll make stuffed mushrooms again, as Michele likes them so much.

What can I bring?

The idea of mulled cider, captain morgans, beer bread, stuffed mushrooms and a band of friends under the same roof at the same time was too much to resist.

I'm known for my sourdough rye bread and glazed apricot coffee cake (among other delicacies), but if anyone had any other suggestions or wanted someone to bring a vegetarian entre I'd be happy to fill that role.

Eden North thinks that sounds like great fuel for Christmas racing.
:D

Oh my

Sourdough rye bread and glazed apricot coffee cake sound heavenly to me!!!

That sounds gross

:)

Sounds excellent!

I love bread! I'll bring the EVOO for dipping.

toga, toga

Lets get rowdy.

Checking in on party plans!

Ok, so.....

I think we have three main dishes so far (Ginger, myself, Judy), some appetizers, bread, and a few desserts....also cider. I will bring a few regular bottles of juice and/or soda. (Two of the mains are meatless as well, I think.)

Chime in here about what else we might need or what you might like to bring.

Also, paper goods....do we have a supply somewhere?

Pizza and Christmas Cookies

I will bring pizza and Christmas Cookies.

Suzanne, I will pick up paper goods. Thanks for reminding me. Also, good idea about the Edenometer.

Judson, Ginger should be capitalized on your Thai dish. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but it hits close to home.

food

I'll bring food. Probably going to make a ginger Thai soup. I'll make some with Chicken and some with Tofu.

Looks like another cold day for the party. I was all about getting nude and jumping in the snow, but the weather report isn't looking good. Even I have to draw th eline somewhere.

I'm thinking a little track fun today if it's clear. Anyone know?

Eliott will make carres au ch

Eliott will make carres au chocolat or I will make fondue continental. Either way rest assure this is not DIET food.

All party food

will be considered ZERO calories this Thursday!!! :)

I'll bring

chips and salsa for the beginning and brownies for dessert. Sounds like your main dishes are pretty well covered. Will be fun to see you all!

tunes in place

CD or IPod variety option adaptable and capable, this sound system "goes to eleven". Preferably: Bing,Mel T, Muppets, Sinatra, Nat King, Mathis, and I have a Latin Grinch song that is quite saucy...or other decade related X-Mas varieties

Food & Music

Bob will bring his Bose speakers that his Ipod works with for music. I think Bob has some intresting Christmas music himself.

Not sure what food to bring. Any ideas ???

Salad

Not enough time to cook! But I'll bring a nice salad w/ caramelized nuts and goat cheese. See you all later!

You beat me to it!!!

I'm bringing a salad too. I will use something other than nuts and goat cheese. I really like goat cheese:)

I have a desert - "carres au

I have a desert - "carres au chocolat avec glacage aux cannes de noel"
