60 min yoga
anyone thinking about running the mid winter classic next weekend?
you should not be thinking of it come to Houlton and run the 5k instead
i am on the mends . . . i am running 17 tomorrow in Hancock Point, Derek will run part of it with me, and I am and skiing on Sunday with my new mittens.
In Canada at least.
1 hr. 8.6 mLs. And some yoga in the quiet wooden floored dance studio because the step aerobics class was cancelled.
I needed an additional rest day this week so as not to go over my allowed mileage.....so I choose today!
Steady hour of biking with the front wheel on my car ramps and a couple of pieces of wood under those to angle it even more. Steep enough so I have to angle the seat and hold on to the handbars the whole time or fall off backwards. Love it.
didn't pack my bag appropriately for the day... got as much as I could before loosing too many of my senses.
I was planning on doing the midwinter classic, but that's the same weekend as Toboggan Nationals, which is a tradition. Crow Athletics is sponsoring a 10 and 20miler in Somesville on the 14th. I will plan to do that one instead.
I am off to the Y in a few for a short run on the dreadmill.
In waterville on a not bad treadmill in a very smelly hotel "cardio room". Here for the weekend recertifying my paramedic license. 3 full days of classes and competencies, yipee! (not!)
down the road and back, over dressed,over weighted,over heated. That cold is a shell shock for heat transfer adjustments. Later, Y abductors and some weights.
Tried to get a 3 x 1 mile workout, but I haven't done "real" speedwork for a long time, so I played it by ear. Got 2 mile repeats (6:31, 6:23), then was content to stop the last (6:15) at the 3/4 mark. Don't want to get too wobbly on the mill just yet. 5.5 miles total.
