Coffee first, exercise later.

8.5 mi walk,

60 min yoga

wicked tough

interval workout with Richard in spin class this morning. Nice

run

7.4 miles easy in 47 minutes. I know I'm ready to race when I run as easy as I can make myself and still average 6:20 pace.

Switched to flats after and ran 8x strides.

Not predicting any course records this year although I feel I could break it at Midwinter if I have to. Nope, this is going to be a tactical affair and I don't care about time. Patience.

Fun 5

with all toes doing just fine. Funny how you appreciate the little things after not having them for a bit. Life is good in the hood. I even got to see Vanessa 4 times during my 5, plus a nice stroll afterwards.

It's also a relief when

injuries are not as bad as you initially thought.

long swim

Fun seeing Mary at the pool. She pulled out a nifty workout while I just went back and forth and back and forth. 2 miles.

very cute . . . are you still

very cute . . . are you still experiencing wardrobe malfunction?

yep

I timed my entrance and exit from the pool carefully. Elastic is not forever. New suit due SOON.

I'm impressed

I having difficulty counting that high. I need to structure my swim workouts into sets so I can remember what I've done. I get bored with the back and forth and my mind wanders off. Hope the wardrobe malfunction gets taken care of quickly :)

9.6M

training course PR today by 2 minutes. very happy and seemed effortless.

Happy Birthday Mike Cunningham!!!

Hope your day is wonderful.

5k

In the 'hood. I took a personal day today as I am currently stressed out beyond belief. The run helped. It's also nice to realize that my relaxed easy run today was faster than my Rolling Bones '08 time by over a minute, and that race was really challenging for me. I'm still not fast by any means, but it's reassuring to remind myself that I'm making progress :)

Rest...

...today.

50 min

On the bike trainer preceded be a little core strengthening. At work, quite busy today, hopefully the night gods will rest. I am quite happy with the little soreness in the muscles of my shoulders from swimming yesterday. Got to check the lap schedule for tomorrow :)
