Happy Birthday to Maggie Painter!!!!
What's your run?
Nice and easy. Core and pushups out of the way as well...and now off to start my new job at Harbor House. Wish me luck, I'm nervous. :)
75 min cycling
with Kim in the hood, plus 30 min ET & some light weights (I was pleasantly interrupted by Vanessa and an offer for a walk. Happy Birthday Maggie! Life is good.
Ginger (aka Madam President) just knocked on our door. Melissa brought her over for a great surprise. Much hugging ensued. Life just got better.
We all wish we'd snuck down and surprised you, too.
Hey, I picked up a kettle ball today at the Y. And I had no earthly idea what I was supposed to do with it after that. Come back to Maine and give us lessons Bob.
Innapoo Congrats sPotter on the PR yesterday. You are in great shape! And thanks for keeping track of Madam President for us Bob.
Ran while Z was in preschool and we actually hit the weight room when we got back to the Ellsworth Y. We did the climbing wall, balance balls and some balance board; it was a blast! And she pulled me through a heck of a lot of arm reps. Everyone feel free to make fun of me all curled up in pain from overexuberance today with free weights...
Fantastic runs all around yesterday at the Midwinter! Some really great reports and times in there. Tom, how did the Houlton run go this weekend?
And good luck Suzanne at the new job; it'll be great.
quick run around Castine.
6 miles this morning in Portland and another 6+ back in Bar Harbor with Brian for most of it. He got to see my road rage. At one point I picked up a big chunk of ice and I think he thought I was going to throw it at a car that was not runner friendly, but all I wanted to do was smash the ice into a hundred pieces on the ground and get my frustration out.
Thanks for all the emails about the race, I've heard form a bunch of you and from a couple former coaches. In 3 weeks I'm going to run the Hyannis marathon and other than Flattop and Cabot in May that's about all you'll see of me running until next fall. Yippie.
in Florida!!! Low 60's...perfect running weather. Yup....lot's of hugs all around! It was so great to see Bob and Vanessa. We were outside all day just relaxing and watching the kids play. The drive south was quite an adventure. More later:)
For me today on the brand spankin' new dreadmill at the Y. I got there an hour later than anticipated, as I had to get my car hauled out of a ditch. Good times. Swimming tomorrow.
I hope you enjoyed your Birthday
