I think we should spell this particular day of the week "sundae" What's your run?
done by eight; walked a mile to cool down. Strength circuit after.
To echo Cake I would caution a warning to anyone who would ramp up such volume that you post following a significant injury.
Basic reinforcement is to: reward good/positive behavior ignore bad/negative behavior punish or caution harmful/dangerous behavior
As Cake chooses to ignore I choose to gently warn.
"Let's ALL be careful out there"
I pushed the pace a little since I didn't get to race last weekend, and ended up running only 3:01 slower than my 10 mile PR. 1:26:02 for an 8:36 average.
I am surprised it went so well. I've been in an emotional funk the past few days and was having anxiety issues before I left. Time to pick myself up, dust myself off, and look forward.
Impressive run! And a big hug for your stress. Reading that you did that loop reminds me of all those long runs you coached me though last winter/spring. Remember wind, rain, and fire? I'll try and be good and catch up on the Edenometer. Becky has me doing homework too :)
getting back to the fundamentals in Stockton. Also ran down some railroad tracks that were set in 1905 - part of the Northern Maine Seaport Railroad that have long since been abandoned but still remain.
& some kettle bell work. Nice running Suzanne! Life is good in the hood.
6 on bayview/hadley point. Nice run.
Some core and 30min on the bike.
This was the worst run that I've had in a long time, and it was a bit of a comedy of errors. I left from Schooner head overlook out and back to rte 3 via ocean drive/ otter cliffs.
When I got to the parking lot, I realized I had forgotten my water bottle. I found one in my car from work this week. I'd have to carry it, but better than nothing.
Just before Sand Beach I fell. H ard. I have no idea why. Actually I don't think I've fallen since Fall, so I was due this season. I walked a little to make sure there was no pain other than where I hit the ground, and resumed running.
I then realized I had punctured a small hole in my water bottle from when I fell, and it was leaking. So, I carried it upside down, and water shot out of the hole when I moved my arm. When I drank, I put my finger over the hole on the bottom to control the leaking.
Speaking of leaking, I realized as I was running up the Sand Beach hill just after I fell that I needed to pee. It was a close call, but I made it to the Otter Cliffs parking bathroom just in time.
The nice parts to this run were the gorgeous views, the fact that those miles are "in the bank", and I ran into Jean and Don on my way out and had a nice chat.
I went to add my miles from this year onto the edenometer (see, I told you I would get to it) but I seem to be locked out. I get this message...
"We're sorry, mtndogdirect@gmail.com does not have permission to access this spreadsheet."
May I have access again, please?
If that's your email address, then you didn't get the one I sent you today! :)
I thought you had roadrunner according to the spreadsheet I work from....but if you listed a different email on your application, I don't have the hard copy of that in hand yet...
