GO Judson + Spotter

Hyannis!

Congrats to Judson on his mar

Congrats to Judson on his marathon win today.
Course record too per coolrunning.

Yah

Congrats!

Very impressive

I'm pretty sure that's a PR for him too. I wonder what the conditions were like down there.

Congratulations, Judson.

7.7 @ 7

cruised for an hour. Walked 2 (miles not hours)

swim & run

1000 yds in the pool and 4 on the mill. Seems like my swimming improves towards the end of my workouts. Maybe I just get tired and my brain automatically improves my strokes. Anyway, the last set of 100 yd repeats was so much easier than the first.

A lot of Eden around the Y today, saw Shannon, Suzanne, Ginger, Britt, Bob, and Becky.

sunday group rookie

9.5 mi from the Y this morning. My first time joining a Sunday "group". Thanks guys! I'm feeling pretty good right now, and looking forward to the next one.

I hope the 10:30 wave had a good run too!

Awesome!!!

Great to see you this morning! Nice run!

You didn't look like a rookie

I hauled one of your running partners back to the Y Kevin. And if you believe that, you don't know my fitness level compared to Mark's. : ) But he did bring me back in fine fashion, for maybe a 40 min run? Had fun, and it was nice to see folks again. Welcome back east Britt! Nice long runs to lots of you.

Nice races down in Hyannis guys. Spotter I think you have a couple times well under that; looking for a report to see how it felt.

13 miles...

...in SHORTS! Had the pleasure of WONDERFUL company....Ginger and Britt for the whole distance, and Shannon who joined us for the beginning and then Mark who ran a few minutes with us and then turned around with Shannon.

I felt so good in my last mile so I went with it. 9:38 average overall, with the last mile in 8:30 give or take. I feel fabulous.

Had the pleasure of chatting with Amy Philbrook afterwards, which was nice, AND I am all signed up for the half marathon. What a great day!

Ms. D, hope your 15 is going well. :)

15mi

Done. I ran from Schooner Head overlook out and back 3 times. I definitely like the idea of breaking it up into shorter runs, thanks for the suggestion Michele and John. I was feeling pretty tired after mile 10 and was just getting ready to set out on my last 5 when Jean and Don showed up. It was great to have company for my last 5mi. I'm a little sore and tired, but I feel good, and feel like I finished strong.

Thanks, Suzanne for the good wishes. Sounds like there were lots of great runs in Eden today!

19 or so

My Garmin lost signal at the end, so I'm calling it 19. I think it was close.

I ran with Kevin and Doug for the first 9.5, which was great. What a hilly loop we did, but it felt good. Then I kept going out Schooner Head when they peeled off at the Y. I was able to speed up and run several ~7:45 miles, which was very encouraging. Then just past 16 miles I ran into Britt, Ginger, Shannon and Suzanne and, as Suzanne said, turned around and ran with them until Shannon decided to head back to the Y. I was trying for 18, so this gave me 19 and it was all good. All in all a very encouraging run that makes Boston seem a lot more reasonable.

13 miles

I'm proud of myself for completing this run. My calves were very sore during the run but I pressed through the discomfort, keeping in mind that the pain was just from being lame, not an injury. If I thought I was injured hopefully I wouldn't have run. Zoomba kicked my butt, I'm walking around this house like I just ran a marathon, no joke. I think I'd like to start running more like 4 days a week and have fun doing some weight training and classes on the other days. If you like to dance you must try Zoomba! It is awesome! Lisa Tweedie will love me for saying this, but it's true.

Thanks for encouraging me to keep going today, Suzanne! I NEVER would have ran 13 today without you.

95 mins on the ET

Just cruising. As was said earlier, lots of very good runs were logged today. Good job Eden!

Wow

definitely a PR for Judson, he beat the old olympic qualifying time by almost a minute. Way to go, Judson!

How about Spotter????

Did he BQ?

Congrats, Juddy!
