What's your run?
Walked 5.7.
I only have a couple days of spring break left and I am nowhere near where I want to be in terms of getting work done :-( so overwhelmed with just about everything in my life right now.
Just cruising to the NY Times. So much to learn, so little time. The music was so much fun yesterday I may indulge in some more later. They had a good artile on how focusing on future health benefits is usually not a good way to sell folks on including regular workouts in their lives, but focusing on the perks of social time and the fun aspect of exercise was. Duh! Made me think of the Daily Log being a good social link even when our workouts are solo. I certainly appreciate the Eden team even if I do not get to actually be with them for several months of the year. Life is good in the hood.
first part of two. Headed to the Bucksport Track later for a 5 X 1200 session.
:)
phew. tough one - thanks Suzanne :P 1M Warm Up, Then 5X1200 with 400 rest. 1/2M cool down. 6 1/2 miles total tonight.

that's the pace i was doing for 800 repeats.
Felt good and kept a good pace throughout.
No running today just a quick swim and a hotel booking for Britt and I on Route 86 in Wilmington NY right on the bike route of the Lake Placid iM. This small July escapade will include 4 hours of volunteer time, training time on the course, cheering the iM athletes, and a slot for the 2011 Lake Placid iM. How much better does it get?
...after work. Rest tomorrow, and looking forward to CeCelia being home this weekend.
Ran 10 x 1:00 fast (last 4 sub-6) with 1:00 float at 7:54. Total 5.5 miles in a little under 40 minutes including wu/wd.
no run, but I did Group Power this morning. Yesterday I got in 11 x 400m repeats. My plan called for 16, but it was a long day at work, I didn't get to the Y until late, and I wanted to be able to get some dinner in me before 9pm. I was only going to do 10, but then I told Becky, and she said I should do another. That's what I get for opening my mouth. But this one goes to eleven!! I love saying that :)
Michele and I are planning to run the Starball /Jordan pit road to rt 179 it will be about 9.5 miles without the shore road loop we have not set a time yet how do i best explain to her about the time change #1=tell her before so we meet at the same time
#2=hope she remembers
or#3 tell her during the run so she thinks we ran an hour longer ? we would like company it is a nice run. and we can end at the zumba place Gingee
I would have most likely forgot about the time change or move the hour hand in the wrong direction. I also will do an extra 4.5 miles.
Damn - that's this weekend?
As much as I love an extra hour to sleep in the fall I hate getting up an hour early in the spring.
There will be no extra 4.5 miles for Guppy on "spring forward" day, that I promise.
this sat. is Beach to Beacon online reg. starts @ 8am
