Felt good.
"Lip Dub" is a new craze for HS and college kids. This one is especially well done. Click play!
you tell if it was done well ? i want to be able to pick out a good one if i see one again !!!
7 miles. Felt awesome. Hip exercises, crunches, back extensions.
Got asked out on a date for tonight at the gym. I'd never seen this guy before but he apparently noticed me. I politely declined as I have tickets to CATS, but I was flattered.
I definitely feel prettiest with salt streaks on my face.
My row isn't summing my miles. Whomever the current Edenometer Oz is, would you please put whatever formula in that does that?
thanks!!!
i made the tweak!
I am calling this my "What Would Bob Do?" Workout. I was scheduled for a 2 mile warmup, 6 miles at marathon goal pace, and cooldown. I wanted to run about 8:30's for the 6 mile piece, but I just couldn't find the pace and I mentally struggled. So, instead, I turned it into 3 X 2 miles with 90 second rest. Somehow this made it more manageable. My pace for the 2 mile pieces were 8:11, 8:13, and 8:12. Why does running 6 miles at 8:30 feel so intimidating when I ran 20 miles at 8:47 two weeks ago? I am just not feeling good about today at all.
It was confirmed for us yesterday that my Dad has cancer, and to be honest...I am barely hanging on to my training right now. My heart just isn't in it. I am hoping if I can just get through this weekend and start my taper, I can get excited about Sugarloaf again. I've come so far and had near flawless training. At this point, though, I am simply drained.
I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Sending you all my very best wishes and thoughts.
all out of gas this afternoon! late afternoon runs just aren't working out.
Nice and slow on a beautiful day. My quads are a bit sore and hammies a bit tight, but overall the legs are doing great for three days out from Boston.
Nora just came home from the last gymnastics practice before her meet in Boston this weekend, disconsolate and in need of three ZUMBA tylenol.
Pretty much it for their program now, I think. The only thing that cheers that team up now after practices is the thought of how the Russians' coach would respond.
Felt good. Managed 41:58 for the 6. First 4 miles or so felt really strong, but the last two took a bit of effort. Was a great run to get back into rhythm after being away for more than a week.
Skipped a lunchtime run to get my legs a little extra rest, had some energy this evening, and legs still feel good.
