had to run around the Cape - it was calling me.

21 FABULOUS miles!!!

I am just so pumped! I was only supposed to run for 3 hours, but I felt so good that I decided to shoot for 21 miles instead. It is the longest training run I have ever done.

I did the first 6 with Michele and Eliot, we went around the lake. Then I did the flat four solo. At 10am I met Ginger, and we did Aunt Betty/7B/EL. As we were finishing, this is when I made the decision to tack on some more mileage. Bob was there to ride alongside me, and then after the 21 miles I did a walking cooldown with Bob and Becky. Thank you to everyone who came out to support me...I can't tell you how much it means to me. This is the best I have EVER felt during a long run, and I had a solid pace and a VERY strong finish. And right now I am sky high! :)

Good luck to Ms. D. She was just starting when I was a few miles from finishing up.

Nice work Suzanne. Your firs

Nice work Suzanne. Your first 6 miles were effortless while I somewhat struggled to get through it but managed. Eliott also did an awesome job this morning around the lake.

Eliott...

...he did do a GREAT job! You were both great company- thank you! I loved the occasional pushes you gave him on the uphill, and wondered if you would need to do the same to me? :)

Did I mention how great I feel? lol I'm still walking on air and my legs feel great. I am super excited!

Belated Congrats

Suzanne, on a super duper long run! I have a feeling you will be a happy camper when you cross the finish line in Kingfield.

Tim and Terry (hope I spelled that right) were looking good too, they both whizzed past Karen and I Sunday morning.

Nice long runs out there today! There will be some great performances up at Sugarloaf this year.

I enjoyed my modest 6.5 miles around WHP and Paradise Hill today. What a nice late morning to be on the carriage roads. I'm going to run tri-lakes at 8:30 tomorrow if anyone's interested.
