What's your run?

4.7

easy miles.

Eagle progressive.

3 X Eagle Lake...Lap 1 (counter clockwise) in 44:10, Lap 2 (clockwise) in 42:25, lap 3 (counter again) in 41:10. 1 mile cool down to retrieve a dropped sippy-cup. 19-ish total.

Saw some Edenfolk out and about...great morning and really nice to see some familiar faces along the way.

sippy cup

what a great idea for toting fluids. Nice run.

5K

ran the Animal Orphanage 5K Route prior to the race. 177 finishers! I have to get back to running - it's been a busy timing weekend :0)

afternoon run/walk in Stockton. I've run 300 miles in the last 30 days and yes it includes the day off.

Today...

rest. Yesterday I got in a fantastic 22.2 doing the bubble/jordan/eagle loop x2. I felt strong at the end, which was a real confidence booster considering I bailed on my last 20miler at mile 8, and every one of those miles had been a struggle. Yesterday's run felt good pretty much all the way through. Yeah, it was tough, but felt manageable. I'm feeling much better about having a good first marathon experience. And today, I'm surprisingly not all that sore! Anyone know of a good spot for an easy sunset hike?

Wow, Ms. D

That's a tough route and you did it twice!! You've come such a long way, very impressive! The Sugarloaf course is baby food compared to tri-lakes. I hope I can see you cross the finish line.

Thanks, Ginger!

I was hoping that run would be a good one to prepare me for Sugarloaf. It would be great to see you at the finish... I'm hoping to cross the line in about 4:30.

In Seal Harbor. First run after four days of hardcore chores and, well, the first half mile felt alright but this run felt like a chore too.

Excellent 8

on a perfect weather morning hereabouts and the occasional scent of blooming jasmine. Life is good. Congrats on those long runs Tim & Ms. D.
