What's your run?

10.25

miles. Legs felt weird. I took a hot bath yesterday and I blame that, hot water's only good for legs if it's followed with cold.

Back extensions, crunches, hip exercises, three-quarter mile walk.

Gladys Ganiel

got an email from Mike Carter in Machias - looks like Gladys ran in London on Sunday and did fairly well!

Later...

WHP loop, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm surprised how good my legs feel after my 22miler Saturday.

3 miles and group power

Fastest 3 mile treadmill run, 23:58. No warm up or cool down, naughty me, heehee. This is about 40ish sec. faster than last week. I'll keep trying to shave sec.'s off, it's a fun game for me. I'm going to indulge in doing the same workout every week (which my coaches never let me do before.) Weekly, I will run 3 miles as fast as I can. It might be a stupid workout, but it's motivating me and I like to see the improvements, which are easier to see with the same workout.

6 miles SWH

Feeling good at an 8:58 average pace, which I am pleased with since I haven't taken a rest day yet after the long run Saturday.

Rest tomorrow for sure though, I will be at EMMC all day for Dad's surgery.

Eagle Lake

Well - I have managed to get to 6 miles finally - what is this, my 5th "comeback" in 2 years? UGH! Anyway - did Eagle Lake yesterday, felt great, and also early this morning. Not as great, but understandable. Pretty slow, but at this point I don't care - just happy to be back. Progress, and now I feel like I can move forward. Give me a couple weeks, and I hope to be out there running with you guys again!

swim

1700 yds at the Y. If I can get the lawn mowed I'll try to get a short run in too before the kids get off the bus.

Swam this morning and ran 3 o

Swam this morning and ran 3 at lunch on the City Hall TM to keep company to my friend Jason. I hope he will consider joining the next group of First Striders. Miss D that Sunday long run rocks.

6.8M

in Castine!

65-min. cycling

it was a "where did the time go" ride and my legs felt the worst in the first twenty minutes of it.

Reasons to be cheerful...

...Two people who always improve my mood just by crossing my path: Don and Jean Bell.

(Well, Shannon truly has the same talent. But I didn't just see her today.)

ORN: Kebo and Dorr Mtns at walking pace.

Eagle Lake

This afternoon in 43:48

5.5

Around but not up Day Mtn and an excursion to Jordan Pond.

65 mins on the ET

All my parts felt good. Reading about all those great runs above does make me wish I was bopping along the carriage trails with Eden's finest. Life is good.
