run; 60 min yoga.
My legs are all twitchy and I'd have liked to get back on my hamster wheel after yoga, but I stayed off. Gooood Alyie. Smart choice. %*#)% [slightly cranky] twitchy legs want to run more. Hip exercises; foooooooam roller!
Thought I would up the mileage a bit...I guess its 7.22 or thereabouts. I almost didn't get my ass up over the hill but managed. I cringe to think how slow that was (couldnt pay me to wear a watch for now), BUT, extremely happy and proud of myself that I am at this point. Wouldn't have "thunk it" a month ago. Gorgeous out, wind wasn't bothersome -
I think you need a spot on the Edenometer! It's a google spreadsheet we log everyone's (well...) miles on. The idea is that we get a group total for miles run this year.
I am trying to revive it. Anna I've been putting your miles on :P
... For a few days I have been slightly remiss in that.

Biked for 1h13 minutes easy. I managed to warm up my fingers but ended the ride with ice cube feet. Nevertheless, it is nice to be back out on the roads.
My first time around the lake this year. I remember why I love it so much. Classic run just hard enough.
800 in the pool after that for some multisport fun.
ran around Castine. Interesting weather today! Sun, Wind and Snow!
The beauty of living so close to the carriage roads:
Ran 3.5 - got snowed on. Stopped at home - got my gloves, sweatshirt and red cap. Ran 3.5 - got sunny and blustery. Stopped at home - ditched the gloves and got a tank top. Ran another 3.5 - called it a day.
A strange run.
And another 3.5 just before twilight.
Even though I went easy, my legs feel awfully tired. Is this normal for the first week of taper?
Feeling good. Day off tomorrow, then busy running weekend. If everything goes as planned it should be the most miles I've run in a single week.
Schooner Head at noon. We got sprinkled on and buffeted by a surprisingly chilly wind that swirled relentlessly.
Suzanne, taper is to get those legs feeling fresh again, so don't worry at this point. Trust the taper . . . no matter how odd it might make you feel sometimes!
