What's your run?
3.2 slow jog around Witch Hole...just trying to recover a bit from yesterday's 8. I was tired but didn't feel too bad. Baby steps. (I hate baby steps!) Another lovely day. ITS CRAZY!
+ two miles walking + hip exercises + shoulder exercises + back extensions + crunches
flat roads, legs felt good.

Very close call with a pickup truck this morning out at the junction of the Bucksport Road and the North Bend Road. I kept going knowing that turning back would not be in my best psychological interest. So here I was taking deep breaths and trying to get it back together going down the North Bend Road on the breaks (I wonder if there is any break pads left). About 20 minutes later, as I was stopping I got pulled into the soft sand and fell toward the unclipped left side and landed smack hard onto the road. Once more, I decided to keep moving ahead and finish the ride. I am pretty shaken by the morning events but I will not let these incidents stop me from riding.

I remember two years ago, Judson gave me a workout 11 days out from Sugarloaf and I couldn't complete it. He laughed and said this was normal and not to worry one bit.
Today I had another Day 11 struggle. I did it, but every step felt awful. Warmup, 3 x 12 minutes at threshold pace, cooldown. (7:55, 8:00, 8:03.) At least I was able to get it done. Not nearly as speedy as Sunday. I saw a male cardinal at the beginning of my run and that was definitely the highlight. 7 miles total.

My internet has been down with all of the construction going on around here. Today I went to Group Power then cycled up Cadillac with a friend, getting in 18 miles. I rented a road bike from the bike shop. I was so proud of myself for not stopping until reaching the top.
I've put a call into Bunky Dow in regards to track workouts. Waiting to here back from him. Sorry I didn't get to it sooner.
I'm so glad you're OK Michele. The exercise world wouldn't be the same without you! Keep at it, just a freak day for you.

Thanks everyone. I am just hoping for a nice uneventful ride tomorrow. Bugs and dogs would suffice.
