What's your run?

8 miles...

... easily on the treadmill. I slept late and that was all I had time for before work.

45 mins on the arc trainer, I

45 mins on the arc trainer, I turned up incline and resistance for the first time since I started, and I could definitely feel it. I've met my time goal, now time to work on increasing intensity. Walking the track at lunch, that'll be my first outside walk since I've started.

Rest today...

...and heading out shortly for breakfast with CeCelia.

I feel silly asking...but what is an arc trainer?

Go Jason!

Sunrise at Lake Michigan

Another nice run (4 miles) along the lake shore in Chicago.

swim and trophy

Kirby gave me a 1974 3rd place salmon derby trophy. I am in heaven! As bob would say . . . Life is Good!

People like Tom

are great because they give you the credit you deserve, but don't embarrass you.

Then there are others who put up signs all over Ellsworth about your accomplishments!

what ?i failed then

because it was to embarrass you
oh well i will try again

Rest

Didn't plan on resting, but ran about 50 yards and my legs felt like crap, so I bagged it. No point in overdoing it, so I will take a page out of Anna's book and be mindful.

5.3M

in Castine!

Eagle lake

41:34. Thats an EL PR by 12 seconds. Egad! But it was cold, at least to start.

No track

Didn't make it to the track today but did do the treadmill at lunch. Michele is going to make a runner out of me yet, I managed to jog for 1 minute 3 times with 5 minutes walks in between. Jogging felt great, it actually hurt less than the walking did.

spinned

lunch spinning - 60 min w/ 6 X 5 min at threshold with 3 min recov. That was hard. Almost skipped the last repeat but Jason straighten me out. Jason also did some nice work on the TM.

Schooner Head

Ran 5 with Terry, very slow. Took the day off yesterday--definitely needed to give myself a bit of a break after 3 pretty hard days in a row.

8 miles

2 miles or so early from short warm up, some misc. intervals and drills on the flat 0.5 mi stretch of carriage roads closest to Seal Harbor.

6 miles from twice around Jordan Pond this evening.

Day off tomorrow.
