What's your run today, Eden?
Are we doing Wednesday track workouts this year? I have really enjoyed them in the past. If not, does anyone have those printed workouts from last year? It was always good to have a goal pace in mind. Mary D
Last I knew, I think Ginger was checking with Bunky to make sure we were all set to use the track again this year. I will check with her and report back.

Britt and I were talking about hitting the track fairly soon. I'd be really happy if you joined us; speed workouts are always more fun in a group. The schedule stays close to the same from year to year, and we can pick the one that's already up or we can make it up as we go. But be forewarned, if left to my own devices I pick a ladder set nine times out of ten. And an odd number of reps. : ) We'll probably meet around 5:15ish like in years past.

45 mins on the arc and 3M on the treadmill.
Swim 44 minutes sustained this morning and 6 miles with 4 miles at tempo at lunch w/ Jason. My body is TIRED but I guess it is what happens when you start at week #8 of the training plan (who needs the first 8 weeks anyways?) I am strongly considering going down one plan level.
I'm sure when they came up with these training plans they totally meant for the first 8 weeks to be optional.

Hey the mission really paid off for me, I just made out pretty nice and I didn't even have to do anything.

CeCelia and I were at the right place at the right time today....seeing you while we were running, that is....and we were sad that no fish or chocolate came our way!!!
I have to start this tapering nonsense sometime I guess. Of course it was the most beautiful day, like, ever :(

Was there a phase 1 to the mission? Was Tom eating junk food with you Jason? We were talking about the benefits and drawbacks of healthy eating (pesticide sprays on veggies and whatnot) and Tom swears he's ahead of the game by simply avoiding vegetables. Sad but true, the swedish fish are working for him. He smoked me on the 10 second kicks after we got off the bikes tonight. Running in the dark is fun. But I don't know if I'd ever call it a 'mission.' Made it seem more interesting, though, didn't it? Thanks Michele and Tom for bringing me along on the ride and run.
Michele told me not to take nutrition advice from Tom.
I don't know how that guy functions on the amount of corn syrup he consumes. Definitely an exception to the rule. : )
only work if you keep ingesting steady supply...have to keep the sugar at a constant level....nixay on the complex carbs for these folks
i don't give nutrition advice and remember only listen to about 10% of what Michelle says and if she is being a pest just tell here there is a very little dog behind her and gaining fast!!!!
Pretty good. Went the "wrong" way around today. Wasn't as bad as I expected, and actually fairly fast, especially considering the all the allergy crud all up in my head.
I'd be interested in joining folks for some track workouts.
I was not a willing participant to that mission. they would not let me call my husband. they detained me. all I wanted was to ride to burn off the 3 pieces of cake I ate. peace out
who called begging to go ????? next time when Shannon thinks it is a great idea to pick you up i will have to remind her of this !
and if we pull up the phone records it will show a call from Shannon's to your house and it was your husband that bailed on you you need stop being a public offical ( your job is not an elected one) so you do not need to make up stories and you can tell the story correct the first time and Judy is on to something with my diet it has been that way as long as i can remember
