What's your run?
My legs felt a little tired yesterday, so I took a rest day today. I am running with CeCelia tomorrow, and Friday she has talked me into biking with her for an hour. Now THAT should be an adventure!
Bunky Dow said we are good to go for track workouts since they are done with the fields by 5 now. So anytime between now and mid/late August we can meet and pull each other around in circles! If I am not babysitting in Hampden, I'll be there tomorrow night. Nothing formal, just some short speedwork for fun.
I may go as well.....just to say hi to my favorite people! :)
track workouts! Getting into running has totally warped my sense of reality. Misery loves company, I guess. So are we on for this week? Hope I can arrange my schedule to be there.
Yesterday I had an awesome 4miler. My first run since the marathon was Friday, 3miles. I felt terrible, and I was worried that I wouldn't enjoy running again. My run yesterday was just what I needed.
Anyone planning on going to Cobscook next weekend?

Alas, I cannot make it to the track on Wednesdays most weeks b/c of fencing classes, so I dropped the ball on this. Thanks to Shannon for picking it up and running with it (so to speak)--I'll miss the camaraderie if not the oxygen debt.
Nice early morning ride with Timmy this morning. We hauled at a nice moderate pace. I was hoping to get 1h45 min but it was done and over it in less time than that. Streched at lunch
Did 30 mins on the Arc this morning and stopped because of a bit of pain in my hip that was also causing a bit of an issue with my knee. At lunch I did 30 mins on the recumbent and then Michele showed me a bunch of stretches after that. Hopefully that will help with the hip/knee issue.
AM: 11 mi run PM: 2700 yd swim
Heading to the track for a workout in Bucksport in the early AM. Probably be there at 7. Keeping in step with the Eden Workouts (2x200 1x400 repeats at 5K pace).
I think we need to do a run at Whitney field sometime soon i think it will be a (repeat) type workout minus the bike part!!!!
Want to try barefoot running on the field? I'm only going to do a couple; my feet aren't fans of any workouts sans the lovely shoes Peter B recommended.
Did 4 with Amanda on the East side of EL after dinner. I think I smiled the whole time; great run, great girl and beautiful day.
Not babysitting, so I'll be at the track!
the grass has not been mowed yet but the plant life looks hopeful this season
