Arc and Recumbent

60 on the Arc and 30 on the Recumbent.

6 after I voted.

Didn't make it to EL, my big girl Chloe had a follow up vet appt at 11. So 6 in the neighborhood in an afternoon rain shower. I wonder if that means I can skip the post run shower;)

Eagle Lake

41:54. Wasn't able to catch the afternoon rain, so now I need to hit the showers.

How was

Bolder Boulder? I found your results but I want to hear about it.

Ommagosh. forgot to post.

The Eden site was acting grouchy and I forgot to post about Bolder Boulder. So the day was awesome: it turned out to be fairly hot, but it was still pretty cool when I started (about 7:40am) and there was enough shade that it was mostly pleasant running. Sitting in the stadium later and watching the other runners, I got a decent burn though.

I wasn't completely happy with my time (around 46:00), but with the elevation (5400 ft = thin air) and a nasty cough due to a cold or allergies, it was the best I could do on that day, so I'll take it!

Overall, it was amazing. I LOVE the huge crowd, the thousands of runners, the festivities. Nothing is cooler than sitting in the stadium watching an endless sea of runners cross the finish line. Can't wait to do it again next year

7.5 miles bike..

...with the fabulous combination of Britt and Michele. They were nice enough to meet me at the high school this evening and give me a lesson. They adjusted my seat and then we rode around the parking lot until I was comfortable going on the road. We rode part of Sargeants Drive and back. Like running, I am great on the uphill and terrible on the down. They pushed me out of my comfort zone and really discouraged me from using my brakes so much on the downhill. It was a great experience.

As an added bonus, let me say that riding with these two has exceptionally HIGH entertainment value! Thanks, ladies! :)

E!

THat does sound entertaining.

more bike advise

if you are going to ride with Michelle you need one hand on the brakes and the other covering the send button on you cell phone after pushing 9-1-1

the girl is a car MAGNET if i have ever seen one

The only reason not to break

The only reason not to break to much was to save what is left of my rear break pads.

*brake

*brake ;)

Jason

Good job! Keep her on her toes! :)

Schooner Head again

But it was made much better b/c I bumped into Ron K. and was able to join him for the first time since his return from the DL. Great to see him out there again.
