Happy Birthday to Patricia Craig!

What's your run today?

I like riding to work.

ride: 7.91 mi Seal Harbor to Bar Harbor
run: 8 mi
ride: 11.5 mi Bar Harbor to Camp Beech Cliff

I like riding home too.

ride: 15 mi Camp Beech Cliff to Seal Harbor

Today

I plan to run at the track after work. Hope to see folks there!

Monday, I got in 4.3 with my new running buddy, Oy.

I, too, want to hear about how Kevin's race in Boulder went.

What time at the track?

I'd like to go today if I can.

Bolder Boulder was AWESOME! The day was perfect (got hot later but early when my brother and I started it was just right). My time was a little slower than I'd hoped, but all things considered I'll be happy with it until next year, and anyway its a 10K PR for me by a LOT. I just love that race, and the huge crowd of runners, and the party atmosphere afterward. Really happy I went out to do it.

20 miles bike

The first 8 were with CeCelia, the rest was solo. I think I may be getting the hang of it!

No track for me tonight. I have to remember that these cross training days are replacing a run....as much as I would love to run later, I don't think it would be smart. Saturday's race will be my speed work for the week. :)

Arc and Treadmill

45 on the Arc, and intervals on the treadmill, 3.25m total. Had some, uh, interesting conversation w/Michele.

38 mile bike

including Cadillac. Group power too. Agnes' bagel was a great reward at the end.

wow!

You're getting right into cycling.

Sure, Ginger...

...here I am all excited about my 20 miles, but you gotta go and show me up!

Seriously, nice job. I am envious. I bet I could ride up Caddy, I'd be wayyyy too chicken to ride down.

I seriously

didn't mean to show you up:) I know you're just giving me a hard time! You could easily ride 38 plus miles with those legs, girl. Let's do it sometime! I just brake a lot riding down Cadillac, you can go as slow as you want. I got up to 30mph on the loop road yesterday! I was surprised how much I liked the speed.

Yes!

I am just teasing you, Gingerbread! Would love to ride with you sometime!!! But you can't make fun of my bike, like Britt does. haha

Late to track

I'll be there, but about 15 minutes late. It starts at 5:30 officially... Had a terrific hike/run up Dorr with Brian which has made my whole day brighter. Hard to do with this much sun. : )

Enough said Jason about 'interesting' conversation. I don't blush easily and I think Michele's gotten me there on several occasions! Hope to see Kevin and get the scoop on his 10k tonight,

And happy birthday Patty! Hope to run with you soon

swim and run

swim: 50 min sustained this morning
run: 7 miles on the tm. I took 4 days off running (that is almost 10 days) and my heel did not hurt.

Canadian Math?

Apparently they do math different in Canada.

metric vs englis system

As I am sure that many people know, there are metric and english time keeping systems. Four english days once rounded up is alomost 10 metric days. I lived in Canada for 27 years. I know!

I stand corrected

LOL Thanks for clearing that up!

Track workout

First track workout, ever. And boy are my legs tired. Thank you to Shannon for suggesting a great workout, and for cajoling me through it:

4X (200, 200, 400) with equal distance recovery between. Hard but enjoyable. And it was nice to see a lot of people there.

Light day

run: 2 x Jordan Pond Trail for 6 miles
ride: 8 easy around EL

ride and run

cycle to track, one set with still sore thigh, then 10 mi loop home.
I'd love to join with others on a cycle ride...before long we'll have a peloton going strong.
