Happy Birthday to Sabine Costello-Sanders and Lynda Millar!

What's your run?

Today

No run for me.

I got in 5 at the track last night, and felt good about it. I've had a difficult time feeling good about running since the marathon, hopefully things have made a positive turn now. It was great to see Bob and Vanessa yesterday, and I'm glad Peter enjoyed his 1st track workout. And of course, great to see Judy, MaryD, and Shannon and the girls :)

On call tonight, I'll run again tomorrow.

If I stop by Harbor House with my race registration form can I get a medal preview??

Happy birthday to Sabine and Lynda!!

"I run so fast wind brushes off me."

First SUNNY camper day. I ran 8 mi in 62:30 this morning (9:28, 8:35, 8:00, 7:41, 7:27, 7:16, 7: 06, 6:59) and did a token ten minute swim.

4 miles HI-O...

...with CeCelia and DeLaney. My hip is at about 95%. :) Not the best surface for a running stroller in there, but not the worst either.

Ms. D....yes. :)

Eagle Lake loop

Ran with Bob and Melissa, and it was great. We got a tiny bit wet because the wind was knocking drops off all the trees, which was refreshing. A huge cloud of mist traveled across the path in a couple sections; it's funny how it doesn't seem as thick when you're in the center of it. Cloud running... : )

The 1200s at the track went well, and I was thrilled to have all that company. Mary and Bob make my running better that it would be on my own, and everyone there just makes me happier. : ) I hope folks can make it next Wednesday because I'll be doing 3 min repeats... I have a tougher time squeezing the joy out of those sets as opposed to lactate threshold stuff!

Enjoy the day, and cross your fingers that the tstorms hold off until after some soccer games tonight...

Workouts

45 mins on the Arc Trainer, and 30 mins on the recumbent bike. As of this AM I was 2.6lbs from my July 1 goal, which just a few days ago I thought I wouldn't make, but now seems possible. Gotta make sure I stay active through the weekend.

EL with great company

Sure was fun out there this a.m. and it just felt right to have Zoe & Adria along for the trip too. I like that "cloud running" ala Shannon.

Alyie, nice warm-up and negative splits out there. Life is good in the woods.

Soft summer rain

Biked later. Saw the sunset. A few tourists in town. Stay cool, Eden.
