masters swim this morning. today seemed like i swam hard through for an hour since I barely made my times on the drills, so didn't get much rest. guess that's what it's all about. what a beautiful day. I will try to get out for a walk mid-day.

I plan to get out for a run after work.

Think I had a Michele sighting on the Bucksport Rd. on my way into work today. I thought about honking, but didn't want her to flip me the bird.

I was wearing my Ellsworth danger bike shirt, the one that is so bright that it lights up the whole house when the power goes out. The shirt that screams, I’m here, hello, can’t you see me, what do you mean you did not see me? Stop lipsing you are sorry, drop the diet soda and pay attention here. The OSHA approved shirt brighter than the vest worn by construction workers. The shirt that I hope will keep me from getting pancaked in Ellsworth by the mom driving her red sport car while talking on her cell phone. Yeap, that was me.

Closing in

I'm closing in on my July 1 goal, I NEED to be good this weekend and I need to be active this weekend. I'm going to climb Schoodic Mountain tomorrow no matter what.

Today I have 45 on the Arc and 2M on the treadmill. Next week is the final and hardest week of the Michele running program. After that I'm going to start C25k. And my doctor told me not to run... pfffft.
