What's your run?

three space

bike: 1h19
swim: 1800 scy
run: 4 mi (28:25)

Success!

4 pain free miles on the Flamingo Course with CeCelia. 1/2 mile walking warmup, 3 run, 1/2 mile walking cooldown. The course looks great and the mile markers are perfect. Thanks, Frank!

If anyone would be interested in manning one end of the Flat Iron Road, please let me know. Jimmy was going to be in that spot, but I realize I have no child care for DeLaney. This would free him up to hang out at the school with her until the Fun Run.

Good luck, Suzanne

with your 3 mile run this morning. I hope it goes well! I'm looking forward to your race on Sunday.

I taught Zumba this am. I almost fell in my own sweat. TMI? probably:)

45

on the Arc, hard. It felt really great. It's been a rough week for me with being out of my routine and I've actually gained weight this week (first time since January that has happened), but today I feel great and I think back on track.

Leaving for Geneva in the morning. I'm going to try my hand at being a "Bike Course Marshall".

5 miles along the Charles

this morning. I made the drive to Boston ok yesterday; almost fell asleep at the wheel in Belfast, but regrouped, made it over the Tobin Bridge and then, promptly, the MapQuest instructions didn't map onto Storrow Drive and before you could say 'monkey's uncle' I was on my way to Needham. Thank goodness 8 years living in Cambridge and generally knowing where on the skyline I was headed (the Pru) got me to the Hilton before too long.

Suzanne

Do you want me to run or be on the course at the Flat Iron turnoff? I'm happy to do either. Call me, 664-6144

Nooooo!!!!

I need you to run!!!!!! Don't worry....it will all work out. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve! :)

Shannon

to need to run 2 the Flat Iron road then wait there 4 me
and hope you can beat me from there to the finish ( that distance is in my range)
and that Hummus better not hurt my race pace!!!!!

Today

I didn't get my run in before work, so I'll be going after.

Good luck in the Musselman, Michele!!!! You'll do great, and we all look forward to your race report. No crawling off into the woods this time, okay? Hope Jason enjoys helping out at the event.

Suzanne, I'm not sure if Jim is planning on going to the race or not, if he is I can ask him if he'd be willing to help. What time do you need me there again? Was it 7?

Glad you found your way in Boston, Judy. I'll miss you on Tuesday.

All set for Flat Iron

Karen is going to spot that corner for me.

Diane, yes...7am. Thank you.

I just got a fabulous donation that will be given away as a prize at the end of the race...must be present to win...come one, come all!!!

EL 6

with Helen. Good run. Got to see Lou along the way. Vanessa got to see Jane out running too. Congrats on a good run Suzanne. Sounds liek things are lining up for a good race Sunday.

4.5M

got the miles done with a bunch of the guys from the Tech Department. First day for one of them. And the second day in a row that one of the locals told us to go faster.

I'm having some car trouble the past two days and unfortunately won't be able to make it to MDI this weekend to race. Although anyone headed through Stockton going to Tremont early Sunday morning - make sure you let me know!

Hey

I've been to Cambridge!

Biked after work. 160 miles under the handle bars this week. And still counting...

LLP PR :^)

Wanted to take another Friday evening nap but took Jack (my dog) to Little Long Pond and despite feeling like crap during my short warmup, crushed my PR by 46 seconds. 28:02! It's gotta be the speedwork! In April of last year, 40 lbs heavier, I struggled around this same route in 46:30, swear to God!! You guys have all inspired me in different ways. I owe you...
Looking forward to Sunday Suzanne!!!
