What's your run?
miles in 1:39
45 on the Arc Trainer, 30 on the stationary bike (I really like this machine) and at noon I will be doing Week 1, Day 2 of C25k.
I *heart* running in the rain!
Keep up the good work, Jason!
The 4th of July celebration is taking place on my left cheek. I hope to swim tomorrow.
Anyone going to the track today? I'm planning to be there.
Had planned a 3 mile tempo in the middle but that proved impossible with the dogs (stop, sniff, pee on stuff, DEER!, oh well). Ran up hadley pt a couple of times instead. Rain had stopped, temps still tolerable, humidity less so.
Track Festival @ MDIHS Aug. 21st 6pm 3k (instead of 2 miler) still part of EAJR Race Series. Prediction Mile Kid's 400m
I still haven't reached Bunky Dow to get the OK, but really wanted to get these changes on the website asap. Keep checking the website for the 100% go on this event.
The Track Festival is definitely going to be Aug 21st.
*Zumba for me today. I was supposed to teach at the lab today too, but it was cancelled:( *rest yesterday *4 miles and Group Power on Mon:) *Loop rd on my bike tomorrow:):)
six miles. I saw a little kid who asked his brother "Why he wunnin?"
that kids run all the time. Our motivations may differ; campers just want to get places really fast so they don't miss anything
Is there any word on when First Strides will be happening?
at 5:30, beginning August 25th. Hope you can join us, Jason.
I'm pretty sure I'll be there, I don't think I have a choice in the matter at this point.
Good to have Kevin, Mark, Diane, Lou, Vanessa, & Ellen out there. I was fine with my 6:56, 6:50, & 6:53. Enjoyed a 3 mile walk with Vanessa this morning after the downpour. Life is good in the woods.
got a 5K in after dropping the car off in Belfast and running to the docks for the boat ride. Went Sub8 with a backpack on, guess that is what happens when you run on flat roads. Boat ride over was absolutely fantastic so if you can commute by boat - do try.
Tough evening for an LT workout. With the humidity the internal heat just built and built. I ran 6:22, 6:20, 6:20 with minimal recovery, but by the end of the third rep I was way overheated and a fourth seemed iffy. I made it to 800, but that was it--my gauge was in the red and not coming down. 6.5 total, great to finally get to the track and nice to see the folks Bob noted in his post.
Delivered 2 kayaks, built 2 bikes, delivered 5 bikes. Still sore from last Wed. repeats and 4-miler + neglected doggie at home = blow off track. Sorry I missed Mark and Kevin etc... Is anybody going to run Danforth's to Dysart's this weekend?
Danforth's to Dysart's 5K
just run, or do the blueberry pie challenge?!
thinking about it can i catch a ride from Ellsworth my cell # 266-2556 or 949-3920

Finished in 20:20.
I'm planning to run double tomorrow, then rest on Friday in prep for the Yarmouth Clam Festival 5-miler...then it's time to start a long overdue vacation which is going to include a few runs back on my old stomping grounds. :)
As noted, it was good to see all at the track today. Its definitely better to suffer together. Did 3.25 X 1 mile. 6:22, 6:34, 6:50. With w.u. recovery, c.d. did just over 5 miles. Wooo. Tired.
