66 preregistrations - contenders for the women's overall Sub5 title will be racing - appears to be w i d e open for the gentlemen. Registration begins at 7 AM. If you are thinking about running this one at the last minute - pack your bags tonight. The race begins an hour earlier this year making it ideal summer racing conditions.

Will the race have the first four time champion? Defending Champion Adam Goode (2007, 2008 and 2009) and Mike Bunker (2002, 2004, 2005) if they race could be the first. Will someone new win the women's crown? Only one has won the race twice over the previous 12 editions (Cassie Hintz 2004, 2005).

Men's CR is 15:25 held by Gerry Clapper (1999) and Women's CR is 17:31 held by Cassie Hintz. In 2004 Mike Bunker ran 14:54 and Cassie Hintz 17:17 - but the pivot point was incorrectly set that year making the course short.
