Meh

It's hot. I wanted to go to the track tonight but I forgot that I'm on call :( Hopefully it will cool off a bit before sunset and I can get a little in-town run in.

Bubble Stroll with Vanessa

Looking forward to track tonight. Sorry to hear work is interfering with play Ms. D.

Low expectations

can be helpful. I've felt way sub-par all week. When Kevin said we ran "together" on Monday, the real story is that he dusted me at 1 mile and had disappeared into the distance by 2. I took yesterday totally off and was not optimistic about track tonight. But I'm glad I went. I had a lot of fun and ended up running reasonably well.

We decided to do 8 x 400, and I started in the low 90s. I didn't even wear a watch, but I was content that they got faster and I still felt OK. Thanks to Bob, Mary and Helen for their cheerful company on the track, and it was good to see Lou, Judy, Jean and Vanessa too.

Ran with Tom

at 7:30ish tonight. Sad to miss the track, glad to hear you all had fun; I love 400s. I love lots of workouts where you have to count, since it entertains me. Tom and I did three 30 second pickups in honor of you guys!

and

she dusted me on them luckly i was able to follow white paint chips back to my car or i would still be wandering around Bayside some where !!!
