Saturday, July 31 daily log:

Now that we have a log, I can report that I ran three miles.

SWH to Islesford

Nice nine mile paddle this morning with a boost from the tide on the way home. The Osprey on the daymarker off of Greater Cran gave me a chirp and then quickly returned to Saturday morning nest chores. I had my running stuff with me (looks a lot like my paddling stuff, but is dry) and thought about doing some out and backs on the road out there. This plan gave way instead to a slow paced search for seaglass on Gilley Beach. A few green keepers, and two blues I chucked back in to the water for additional rounding.

Ran in to Don B. in Bar Harbor yesterday. He was looking for a battery for his first generation Timex gps unit. Go Don!

Hey Frank!

So nice to see you posting! I saw you today....I was at Scotty's Dockside exchanging buckets (they keep their scraps for our pigs) but there was a large crowd and I felt funny yelling across the parking lot. Gorgeous today...I ran 4.5 pushing DeLaney and later took her on her very first hike (Flying Mtn.) Glad you had a great paddle. I LOVE great beach glass finds! :)

cycle

46 miles on the bike. With new shoes that make my feet happier than they have ever been on the bike in over 15 years.
Hip has felt 100% for 2 days now so I hope to make my running comeback at Eagle in the morning.
Can someone explain how the Edenometer works? I thought I had entered my numbers but the numbers I see now are different. I think I am having a UTS error.

Peter B

If you have access to the Edenometer, you should be able to open the Google spreadsheet after clicking on the "Edenometer" link from the grey bar on this site. Then, the bottom of the spreadsheet will let you click the little arrow until you find the spreadsheet spanning the current two weeks. I just put a row in for you - row 32 - but someone else will need to copy the formulae that make the math part of it work.

Peter

your edenometer row is working fine. I just checked. enter your numbers and when you click out of the cell, the sum will appear at the end of the week. Let me know if you need to know more.

Column

Wait, I think I have it. Definite UTS errors on my part!

history

How do I add my name to all of the past weeks spreadsheets?

You can insert your own row,

if you'd like to go back and through them all.
Alternatively, feel free to put a lump sum of miles in for one day.

Thanks for your miles!!!

I

Can report that I ran 5.5!

A training Anna with fall racing in the planning is a posting Anna.

Long bike

nice to ride with Michelle for the first go-round of the Park Loop. 58.5 miles when finally home. wonderful morning; very very few cars in on the Loop. We started at 6:30 am - that's the trick. Thanks Michelle for a great ride.
