Yesterday, I got in a loop around EL, and kept going past lots of resting bikers (some that started at the same time I did). Guess it doesn't really count as passing bikers if they're completly stopped, but it was still fun.

Saturday I got myself a course PR at the Schaefer 5k, which I am proud of even if I didn't get the 5k PR I was looking for.

Judy, are we on tomorrow morning? I'll make sure I'm not a slacker.

Jason, are you eating enough fresh veggies? Cukes, tomatoes, summer squash and zucchini are a plentiful now. I found that making sure I ate my veggies before I ate other stuff filled me up and made me eat less higher calorie foods. And I hope you're drinking plenty of water too :)

Machias Blueberry 5M Preview

quick update on the Machias Blueberry 5 Miler coming this Saturday!

I just received the first round of preregistrations - there are 64 in for the 5 Miler - Folks who are running are from Connecticut, Ohio, Vermont, New Jersey, Texas, Michigan, Maine and one from Afghanistan! Only one team has mustered enough individuals to qualify for team prizes. As for the one mile fun run - there are 34 signed up.
