wow what a storm

i had to keep getting up all night to turn off the window fan to make sure the wind was blowing at all !
then i remembered this is the same bunch of people that last year told us how bad the flu was going to be !!!!

Well

at least it's cooler.

I realized midweek that the student lounge in the graduate center is air conditioned. For the past three nights, I've dragged a sleeping bag down there and camped out on a couch. Hee hee. No one told me I couldn't and it was pretty comfy :-)

I forgot that none of the campus dining places are open until 10 am. I'm hungry. The only snacks in my room are in Gu form.

Nada for me

This week has been absolutely crazy with hauling boats out of the water! On Thursday, we pulled out a shop-record 10 boats in one day - the previous record was 5, set Wednesday, and before that it was 3. I'm enjoying the calm and quiet.
