September 10, 2011. 6th Annual Suddy 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run for Kids (age 12 and under). Second year in a row this race is held in Eastport, Maine during the weekend of the Pirate Festival weekend.

Location: Suddy Baseball Field, County Road, Eastport, Maine

Pre-day of race registration on www.active.com

Day of race registration starts at 8:00 am

5K Race starts at 9:00 am, kids race starts after 5K is completed

$20 to register to run or walk the 5K

$10 to register for the fun run for kids 12 and under (kids receive medals)

Shirts are given to the first 150 registered participants. Post race refreshments, snacks, and awards ceremony.

The race is for the Jay Michael Suddy Foundation that awards scholarships to Shead (Eastport) High School graduates.
