Greetings to Eden Athletics!

45 min run today

treadmill/track combo- boring until Sara M. joined me for the last few minutes. I think Judson has a speed workout up his sleeve for me tommorrow. Shannon and Courtney are you interested in joining me? You too Karen, if you're around. I still don't know exactly what's going on but I'll be in touch.

Let me know when you are goin

Let me know when you are going. I definately need to run tomorrow

Courtney

11.8 miles

Twice around EL, as part of Frank's longer run. There are some huge trees down. The breeze was still pretty sharp, mostly at the north end of the lake. Saw only a couple of walkers, and no other runners, although I did see Brian's car. Considering the mileage he's doing lately, I am guessing his car is there more than it is not.

Please tell me it counts.

Caught a leaf on Cottage Street on my way to get the morning cup o tea. Counts, right?

It counts.

It definitely counts

Unless, of course, you were driving to get the tea and your windshield caught it...

And Ginger, I'll be in RK/Alyie/Amy F's neck of the woods tomorrow; sorry I'll miss the track workout.

Tom K.

I have your gloves. How do I get them back to you? Please tell me you have another pair of gloves you use for work. I hate to think of how cold your hands must be.

I walked around LLP with Fenway. Ended up going to the Y afterwards for a little socialization. I tried to run a bit with Ginger, but got a terrible cramp after 6 minutes. I think I will be walking and swimming from now on.

No running

Just some weights and planning to do some core and stretches tonight.

Keep running!

5 on mill

No power, so why not come in early, run on the mill, take a shower, and get to work? Made sense to me.

We're not scheduled for restoration for another day or two :-( Makes you appreciate the modern conveniences, that's for darn sure.

Out and back..

beyond Bubble and then two laps of Eagle with Chris G. The wind storm has created some good projects for the Take Pride in Acadia crew this weekend.

The Rolling Bones 5k went well and seemed to be enjoyed by all. Thanks to Brian for pulling it all together. Hope to see folks at the Ledgelawn Mile.

Just 3 miles in the last rays of day

Happy Halloween

3x2=6 for the E

easy mileage

60-minutes yesterday, 50 minutes today. No workouts until next week. This is the first time I've really rested after a marathon.

6 plus 6

AM: Eagle Lake SAS, skirting the treefalls.
PM: (2)x Rolling Bones 5-K in half moonlight.

Just 6

in the fading daylight, finishing in the half moonlight.
Plus a total of 5 yesterday.

Courtney

I'll definitely need to be burning some calories tommorrow. I'm sitting here treating myself to shrimp, brie, yummmy crackers, very yummy chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips and a nice beverage. I'm having a great time enjoying food and Eden Athletics!
Courtney I'm not sure what's going on yet with tommorrow's workout, I'll call you in the am.

Getch yer...

Rolling Bones 5K: PHOTOS

Had a good run

at the rolling bones, and managed to make it off the Island without incident. Unfortunately, that meant I had plenty of time to start that floor tiling bathroom project...which is ending.....now. 5 ish yesterday. No miles today, but 1 leaf, 1 new bathroom floor, and one new leak.

I hope to pop out of work to watch the mile scream by tomorrow.

Rolling Bones 5K

looks like a great 5K.Hope it stays around and sounds like 1st year went well.My favorite Stones era was when Mick Taylor was playing lead.Added a level of musicianship that Stones have lacked before and after. My fave Stones song however is from early Brian Jones era "have you seen your mother baby standing in the shadows".8 miles tonight,core,12 miles spinning.Met friends to watch Patriots run roughshod over Vikings.Gotta like it. Yeehaw! Back to running

Nothing like a few days off to make you appreciate getting to run again. Got to do 4.5 out & back along EL and felt like a kid at Christmas getting to run again. No back pain! My Physical Therapist (Vanessa) has greenlighted 6 - 8 for tomorrow. Life is good in the woods.

Five on the mill

I'm with you, Bob - nothing like getting back to running. I managed to tuck in five miles on the treadmill yesterday at the Y, and even that felt great.

Monday Totals

Running/Walking = 84
