5K(3.1 mile) run/ walk & Kids 1-mile fun run

This event is part of the Eden Athletics - Jack Russell's Steakhouse Points Series

WHEN: SAT. AUG 11TH TIME: 8:00 a.m. KIDS RUN 8:30 A.M. 5k Walk/ RUN
Registration 7:00 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. or by mail before Aug. 9th
WHERE: Scenic Schoodic Point (east side). Take rt. 186 to Birch Harbor & follow East
Schoodic Drive 1 mile to Wonsqueak Hbr. Look for signs for parking and registration
COURSE: All races begin and end at Wonsqueak Harbor. Run out & back along
spectacular Schoodic Point. Wheel measured, fairly flat, along shore, 2 water stations
RRCA guidelines
COST: $12 for 5K $8 for kids mile (12 & under) Free T-Shirt for all that pre-register
(T-Shirts will be on sale day of race)
FACILITIES: 2 portable toilets, Water & refreshments available to racers
AWARDS: 1ST three places all age groups( M&F) plus raffle for donated prizes
