This year, in an effort to increase member participation at local running events, we invite you to enter our Volunteer of the Year contest and have a chance to win valuable prizes. Without volunteers, it would be virtually impossible to put on a race, and having experienced runners as part of the volunteer team makes things infinitely easier for race directors.

It is strongly encouraged that each member volunteer for at least two events per year, and we will be posting reminders prior to events for people to sign up, so that each event will be adequately staffed.

The Volunteer of the Year award will be presented by the EA officers at the end of racing season.
