Eden Athletics - Jack Russell's Steakhouse Points Series

Eden Athletics and Jack Russell’s Steakhouse and Brewery are pleased to announce the formation of a points series competition involving a number of local running events. The Eden Athletics – Jack Russell’s Steakhouse Points Series will allow participants to earn points based on their overall, or age-group, finish in each of the nine races in the series. At the end of the season, the cumulative point totals will be tabulated for each age-group and “open” category and awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in their respective groups. Cool

I'll be at the Tremont Trot.

Thanks, Jack Russells!

for the sponsorship. And speaking of the St. Germains I just saw Tom and he was heading to the hospital to pick up Nina and their new daughter Fiona Pearl. All are healthy and happy!!!

EA-Jack Russell's Steakhouse Points Series schedule change

As some of you have surmised, the Jack Russell's Downhill Mile tentatively scheduled for this Saturday will not take place. Although you won't earn any Series points, please join us Saturday morning (10:00 A.M.) at Cadillac Mountain Sports Bar Harbor location for a presentation on running shoes by Peter Beckett. Peter does a great job of explaining the various models of running shoes and the importance of matching your particular "foot type" to the appropriate shoe. We could perhaps meet earlier for a progressive tempo loop around Eagle Lake before the presentation. Any takers?

EA-Jack Russell's Steakhouse Points Series Banquet

Please join us for a review of the Points Series season and the presentation of the Overall, and Age Group, awards. Saturday, November 17th, 12:00 P.M. at Jack Russell's Steakhouse, 102 Eden St., Bar Harbor, ME.

I'd like to be able to give Jack Russell's some idea of how many people will attend. Please email me at vicepresident@edenathletics.com if you plan to come.
