Other than the first mile being almost all uphill the course is pretty fast. I know Mike ran the last mile one year in 4:28. A couple of years ago, either 2-3 they put the turn around cone in the wrong place and the course was short. Whatever year Mike Bunker broke 15 minutes. Which sucks because Mike was in shape to break the course record. It was probably 20 seconds short. I believe Gerry Clapper holds the record from the first or second year it was run(around 15:30).

Clapper has the record from 1999, 15:25. Mike Bunker was just off that last year running 15:26. I think I've only one the race once or twice. Once for sure in 2001, and I cannot seem to find 2002's results anywhere.

But I believe the fastest times on the course other than 2002 absence are.

Maybe someone could enlighten us with the 2002 results. No wthat I think about it I think Mike Bunker may have won 2002 under 16, I believe I was 2nd in 16:19 and then maybe 2-3 guys a few seconds back, Ian Frazer, Greg Dolbec, ???. Pretty sure.

It's also fun to note that in 1999 I ran 17:09 and in 2001 Mike Bunker ran 17:02
