Go team!
32 degrees in my garden this morning. I hope I dodged Jack Frost's bullet. I'll never have a better garden than this one.
Nice run and a lackluster swim. The effort was there - the energy wasn't. Lou did some scy too! I like seeing other Eden runners at the pool; Dr. Dave was nice enough to share his lane a couple days last week.

this morning with my partner Dasher--feels like fall. A great day for running. 10 miles yesterday biking and 8.4 miles running on Saturday that I missed reporting.
on the mill with the giant green blob looming overhead. The Dave Matthews Band is playing tonight at the Blossom Music Center, our local outdoor performance venue...I hope they brought their umbrellas!
Bit of a nip in the air on this beautiful morning. Life is good in the woods.
Good long run with surges every 6th to 10th minute. Still warm for my taste, but it should make any weather this fall seem nice. Ran the first hour plus with Joe, over rolling hills and some pavement at a good clip. Kept the second half flat doing mostly lake loops. Thought I was going easy until I looked at my watch and saw I was clicking off sub 6 minute miles. So instead of going 2:20-2:25 I cut my run to 2:13 since I easily got in the 22 miles I needed.
except for abs and pushups. I may try to get on the bike later, but I may run out of time...we will see.
Ginger & I had an awesome run around the ABP/7B/JB/EL route, then we did pickups for 4 miles on the east side of EL. The plan was to run 3 hours today, with a 1/3/2/1/4/3/2/1 set of pickups with 3 minute recoveries after mile 13. This should have left us with about a 1 mile for our cool down (based on the planned 18 miler), but to get the 3 hours we actually ended up at exactly 19 miles ~ GREAT JOB, GINGER!!!!
:)
Good job out there.
ARE THE RESULTS OUT YET
We've reached the North Pole! Miles from Bar Harbor - 21,532 Miles from Beijing - 3,150 Postmarked August 13
If you are still deciding on a marathon, you might consider this one, which looks pretty cool.
on Tuesday, April 10, we were at the South Pole.
felt a lot better on the way back. Must be those good old hills.
Tricked ya,
Where the heck are they?
I knew you'd look.
in the bangor daily.

Jordan Pond to LLP & about with some friends who are visiting. What a gorgeous day and a beautiful place to live. Life is good in the woods.
followed by a nice bowl of mum's split pea soup, some fresh bread, and sharp cheddar. fall meal for sure.
Nice work on the long runs Judson, Ginger, and Julie. I like the symbolism of Ginger and Julie doing their long runs on Mondays..a 10:00 A.M. start I presume.
Run Manny Run!
surges and fartleks.Perfect weather again 60,dry,light wind.
in 3 hrs, which is awesome for me on a training run. Julie's awesome. Julie, thanks so much for distracting me and pushing me along that last mile. Judson started crying for joy when I told him. He's such a softy, ya right.
I was very nice after I laughed.
I want to know what the laugh was about!
about how funny you look when you run:)
I like to be sure people are enjoying themselves while running with me so they forget about their pain!
With temps in high 70's and overcast. What a difference! +20 sec off for a negative split. 81 mins. My longest run since April.
Plus 6 miles from last Saturday.
get fat on us Mike. Just because you're not on the island is not an excuse.
Keep running!
124 of 'em. And, we're at the North Pole. Who gets the first gift of Christmas?
