Run in studs, it's slick out.
Nice and easy.
And 1200 yd swim, just stretching out. Tomorrow I get MY pool back, can't wait.
and a couple unexpected miles of walking. Strained my left calf (as opposed to my right one which strained on Turkey day). Got ice on it right now ... will see.
Keep running!
with great company....CeCelia, Ginger, Shannon, and Karen. We caught glimpses of Judson who pushed DeLaney the whole time. (Thank you!) And we also got to visit with Don.
Strides afterwards too.
pushing DeLaney, probably about 8.5 miles total.
with Suzanne, Karen, Shannon, CeCelia, Judson and DeLaney. It was very kind of Judson to take the stroller so we could have some nice girl time.
I needed that time, thank you again! :)
a grueling but extremely fun run! Good thing no one had a camera on me! I don't now which hurts more ~ my legs from the all terrain run or my stomach from laughing so hard!
I was shooting for 10, but DeLaney woke up and now we are having company. Guess thats it for today.
I just realized I may need to take Jenny for a doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon, so I can only do the workout around 9:30-10:00. I hope we can make it work.
Suzanne. My sister-in-law isn't home yet. I should know by 8.
exactly.
Ran a warmup, then about 3.5 miles @ 8.4 mph with 1-minute hills up to 4%, 1 minute flat @ 1%. It got challenging--I wasn't recovering at that pace really--but my legs are still feeling good, so I think the gradual biomechanical re-adaptation is working. With warmdown it was 5.5 total miles.
A late Happy Birthday to John. From the Y out 2.5 miles on Schooner Head. I first saw a man pushing a stroller I thought it was Matt turned out to be Judson a bit later saw the LADIES they were looking nice and relaxed. The road is in very good shape, no ice or snow.
Don
and I signed up for Boston...so I guess its time to start running in earnest again.
Belated condolences Suzanne- thinking of you and yours.
up and down my lane. Well, not that much speed... 2.5 mile in the middle at 8.38 which is good for me.
we've got quite a crew for our workout tomorrow- Suzanne, Julie, Karen, (maybe Shannon)and I! It will be fun. The more the merrier- Duck Brook Bridge 10 am! All paces are welcome.
and get some strides in. Make sure you are really warmed up. You are starting ths workout pretty fast.
I'll be there around 10.
5 mile run today on one of those perfect days. 2.4 more on the ET later. 3.2m on the ET yesterday and a 3 mile stroll with Vanessa.
Suzanne, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
John M, Happy Belated Birthday. I have to admit its hard to imagine what "special" meal you enjoyed on your birthday when Bonnie is making those great treats so often already. Enjoy!
