We are Siamese if you please
there they are! The Kitten is adorable.
Yesterday I was slicing honeydew melon to go with breakfast and my cat swiped a slice and ate it. I knew she liked milk (and lobster and shrimp) but I have never seen a cat eat fruit!
I'm allergic to cats but have owned a couple Maine Coon Cats over the years. The long hair eventually did me in and friends had to take over. They were smart animals.I taught one of them to fetch and just like a dog I would throw a ping-pong ball and the cat would chase it down bring it back and drop it in front of me.
is one cute kitten.
She's a ragdoll Bluepoint.
lazy and loves to sleep, but sprints all around the house sometimes too.
Oooh, it's ICE BATH time!
She just ran a 13 mile recovery run, "nice and easy" in 90 min., after a long run the day before. That just blows my mind. I couldn't do that if someone held a gun to my head, but that's okay. I'm just in awe of that lady; how she mentally and physically finds the drive to push forward is beyond me.
gorgeous miles with Suzanne and DeLaney. So nice to run with Suzanne again. Good luck with your progressive run tomorrow, Suzanne. Sounds like you've lined up some good support.
but the HS track still has snow on it. Maybe try the loop we did that one time when Judson was lurking around the corners in his trenchcoat (lol)....at least its flat....hope to see you tomorrow maybe as we are both finishing our runs! Thanks for your great company today!
I think I'll be on Eagle Lake Rd. and Duck Brook for one mile repeats. I'm starting at 8:30, maybe I'll see you in your travels. Good luck!
you mean 2 mile repeats. Just run an out and back.
that's what I meant.
Just making sure.

with Gingerbread and DeLaney. Of course, being the graceful girl I am, I slipped on the ice twice- once when I wasn't even running! hehe No harm done.
Afterwards I stopped at Judson's to get some books and I got to hold the kitten! She's a beauty!
nice and sunny - not the sloppy 11 I had at home yesterday.
I couldn't understand why my message was cut up. I figured out, you can't use "less than signs" from the keyboard since it is reserved for codes & my message disappeared after the sign. The message is finally complete. Web-master, please put the message on the home page if you agree that it is a proper place for it. Thanks!
Keep running!
guys.
Although this will make no sense to any of our members I must say that yes I know Boston Marathon registration closed March 1st. But if I wanted to run, I could get a number.
and we've got a heck of a crew this year. I don't know if it's supposed to be secret because Steve's not putting up any gentlemen's names, but there are seven women in Eden who have qualified. We're over double last year's total! If there is anyone who hasn't heard from me who is looking to run Boston I am extremely sorry for the oversight, and expect you to yell at me via email or phone at your earliest convenience.
in shiny new shoes with silver laces.
and those are adorable kitties, Judson. I have two of my own.
Post em up. We can have a pet day on the site.
some rowin' and some running.
Thanks to Steve and Shannon for getting our Boston teams organized.
Are you getting geared up for Gate River on Saturday, Bob B?
with the First Striders! Melissa and Missy ran lookout on the Witch Hole/Duck Brook road, Shannon spotted Amanda and myself. Judson, I assume from your quote you've seen the Disney flick "Lady and the Tramp"?
Melanie, Missy, Amanda, Shelly and I got together for a run of varying distances on the Duck Brook road today, which was fun. We were rewarded with Heather's presence near the end; she got in 30 minutes with an excited and very well behaved pup. I'd say Amanda and I got in five all told--we switched directions a few times so it's a guess.
Knowing you all are still running strong made my day.
ladies. Amanda, looks like you're getting up there with the distance, nice!
Sorry Melanie, I've had a stressful week. I just looked back at my post, I have no idea what kind of shenanigans my brain is up to. Looks like I was combining Melanie and Missy into Melissa. Really, these brain lapses are troubling, but thankfully, I usually don't remember them for long.
:)
Played some decent tennis tonight after a nice n easy 4 miler at noon. I used to be able to play that game and I saw glimpses of some of the old skill, which was great fun.
Yet again the forecast for Saturday is abysmal. I am free for a run, but are you looking to stay inside at this point?
and meet me today at Duck Brook Bridge at 8:30. Or maybe you could take your lunch break at 9 am and just meet me for the hard pieces.
jinx yourself.
I'm running based on time since speed sensor is out of synch.Console indicated I went for 16 miles but I know that is crap.I ran for 1:30 but a little faster then normal plus mill is frozen at 1.5% incline until that too is repaired next week.A good workout at any rate.I'm definitely feeling the two weeks off.
how did the running paths around Back Cove make out this winter /// they looked bad last fall in places
where's my friend Buff Manila hiding?
is a winter wasteland. The city does a great job plowing the entire 3.5 mile path after every storm but they gave up this year at some point and who can blame them.
