What's Your Run?
I'm going to try and run later. Even though my throat and ear both hurt somewhat, I am not running a fever. If I feel terrible, I'll stop.
I'm very excited....I'm registered for the B2B AND I have an appointment for a massage! Woohoo! The last time I ran the B2B I was still heavy and think my time was like 1:17. I think I can do a little better this time around. :)
and don't worry about your miles, you're being very smart by taking care of your body; you'll be stronger in the long run, no pun intended:) I got to 39.5 miles this morning and thought I would drag myself to 40 (where Judson wanted me.) I was happy that I stopped myself and didn't succumb to the numbers, and I know Judson's a big one for running by how you feel. The brisk walk at the end was just what I needed to energize me.
4 at tempo pace.
It's Buzzard Day! It is pretty foggy, so I'm not sure I'll get to see any.
are hard. 4 is a long way to go at tempo pace, nice job!
a little sore from the IMing yesterday and felt worn out again - I think I am not eating enough, but to be honest it's SO annoying to need so many calories. Maybe I'll switch from gels to flat coke :D
run - 6 mi progressive then a cooldown (read: got too tired to keep running fast. 61:40 for the whole thing)
swim - 4 x 150 on 2:15 8 x 100 pull on 1:25 2 x [200 kick + 200 swim]
please put my miles and yards ("insert comment") on the Edenometer spreadsheet? I'm on Zach's computer and it won't let me open the spreadsheet for some reason. But that run's worth 39 cents :D
with Mr Graves and some strides. It felt like we were going slow, but we covered more ground than I usually do in 60 minutes.
A little with Marion, a little with Sara, a little on the tread, and a nice brisk one mile walk with Karen to top it off.
Well, I think the madman and his best man have left for New Bedford. Hope all goes well for him.
I didn't feel fabulous, but I certainly didn't feel exhausted and desperate like I did on Thursday. The run itself was fine, its the coughing afterwards that stinks!
Ginger, have fun at the wedding! Judson, we'll be cheering for you!!
I'll be running 7 miles from the Y at 8:30, hope to have company:)
I'm up for another 7 miles :-) See you there.
Tom K.'s running with me so far, and I don't feel terribly comfortable running alone with him.... any takers?
to run with Mark AND Tom?!?! You lucky girl!!!!!!!!
and a sure sign of Spring..our own Manny Ramirez commenting on his arrival at Spring Training.
"Hey I'm always on time, even when I showed up late two years in row I was always on time."
Good luck tomorrow Judson!
something I plan to do this year...watch WAY more Red Sox games! I LOVE baseball (used to be the Commissioner for Tremont for Little League and occasionally sang the anthem at games in BH as well as kept score) but have gotten away from it being so busy and all. This is the year to make time for it again!
was watching the Red Sox win the World Series. I think it's the latest I ever have stayed up... and I don't like baseball. I only watched it 'cuz he asked.
all on the ET. Glad to hear you are improving Suzanne. Good luck Judson. Life is good.
