What's your run?

Rest again

I'm feeling better today, but think to be on the safe side I should rest again. DeLaney and I may go on a walk later to enjoy the pretty weather. I hope to run some easy miles tomorrow.

8 miles

with a big crew today; Amy, Karen, Holly, Dasher, Sara, Marion, Buck, and Poppy.

7 miles

Had a great run this morning with all of the crowd above--lots of fun today with everybody!

68 minutes

10.5 miles. Ran up the park loop road. A lot of it is clear, some still has a couple of inches of snow which made for slow going, but it was so nice to run and feel good.

Tom honked at me. Must have thought I was some hot chick.

I ran with Don Bell for a minute, but he was going much faster than me so I let him go.

No

I was in Ellsworth:)

7M

I learned on Sunday (Kerrymen) with as many miles as I'm logging, I'm not doing enough speedwork. At least speedwork to sustain a 5:36 first mile. Ran my 7M Winter Loop with 10 X 1 Minute at 80% of max effort. Found another socket for my socket wrench collection.

600 w/u

6 x 100 pull
10 x 50 back drill and swim
100 free
10 x 50 free drill and swim
8 x 25 alt fly free
4 x 25 fly
100 free
6 x 150 free mix pull drill swim

Felt awful, which I think is from not having swum the past two days. No run or bike today, legs have a bunch of sore spots. I daydreamed of taking Chatter to the pool with me and starting to do some swim bike bricks :D

Another workout for you

Anyone interested in canoe & kayak racing? Great way to work the upper body while giving the lower body a rest. check out www.mackro.org for a list of races. Season starts next weekend and runs through October with the last race of the season on Long Pond in Somesville. From now til May it's white water fun, then goes to flat-water paddling. Lots of fun:)

Power Hour at YMCA
1/2 mile swim
6-mile run
60 min paddle

Just to set the record straight

Judson was running down Cromwell Harbor Rd and I was driving on Cromwell on my way to the recycle center, so Judson had no choice.
Jean and I did have our spinning class today. FUN.

Don

You beat me

fair and square.

Bell beats Cake

No threats or swears now!

8 miles

A hilly treadmill run.

60+ minutes...

of napping! Then, a stroll with DeLaney. We walked to the corner, holding hands. It was wonderful.

4 miles.....

With Scott F. Lot's of people out walking. Even saw a guy surfing!

surf envy

I've got a wetsuit. I just need a surfboard.

Probably

my brother. He surfs almost everyday some place around the island. he's crazy.

5

Yesterday's easy 4 miles were made not just tolerable but actually pleasant by Kevin showing up and running on the mill next to me for the last 22 minutes. Today no one showed up to take away my boredom, so I played with buttons and ran 5 in 38:20, the last 2.5 miles .1 mph faster every 2 minutes.

And why did I run on the TM on such a nice day? B/c it was really cold this morning. And I'm an idiot and don't think ahead.

35 minutes

5-miles with the gang.

Don't forget, Evan will be in town on Saturday and is running 24 miles. We are starting at 8:30 for all who want to run all or part of it.

Don't YOU forget

we have the Flattop 5k preview run Sat. in Lamoine.

That's right

Amy P and I are planning on going to the preview run, and I know Mark is as well. Who else is headed that way?

Preview run

I know Karen and maybe Suzanne are going.

I am guessing

I may not make it. But we'll see. I may need to stick close to home.

celtics

Celtics really kicked the crap out of Houston.

awesome game

Houston are playing without Ming but Celtic's were without Allen. They looked championship worthy.Goodbye to Houston's 22 game win streak.

Yup

Nothing against Houston, they played great for 22 games. No one can ever take that streak away from them, the second longest in NBA history. But The Celtics stopped it from going any further. It is going to be pretty hard for anyone in the playoffs to beat the Celtics in 5 or 7 game playoff series. I just cannot see it happening.

I just wish they played every night.
