What's your run?
:)
in 43 min & includes 1/4M walk w/u. Then some upper body lifting.
Keep running!
7-miles of hill work. Mostly up, with NO flats and a killer 1.5-mile down hill finish which was harder than all the ups.
on the rubber road in my basement. Five 1000 m pickups to keep myself entertained. I need to go run up some hills again. Mary, where are you? You're the one who pulled me through those kinds of runs last year!
didn't cover much ground today. I worked yesterday, from 11:15am till 9:45pm with only a 25 min. break. I was limping by the end of my shift. So... I didn't feel so light and airy on my feet today. I made a lot of money though:)
7.28 miles
Ran a 20 minute steady piece at the end and covered 3.65 miles. Even though today was going to be an easy day, I felt good and since I wanted to get a longer steady piece in this week I decided why not.
made a lot of money yesterday. I think she should treat us all to lunch Saturday, after she smashes the Flattop record.
I'll meet you at McDonald's after.
the records will fall after that and Judson can put on some weight real easy the AMERICAN WAY if Ginger breaks in the 22.0000000S i will pick/up the tab on her meal FAST FOOD = FAST times if you don't think so go look in Robin's trophy room
I'll be my normal self.
I'll break your record. But I want fast food after.
more along the lines of a place that might serve chocolate martinis! hehe
have Cosmos, those are Ginger's favorite.
I still remember when she bought me one like I'd actually like it. Not my bag.
that thing down so fast. It was funny to watch you stumble out of there. I love chocolate martinis too.
I don't stumble, I fall, then get back up.
in new spring Mizuno Wave Rider 11s... back in the office today - appears the roof membrane blew off after I left on friday.
and 6000 yds (YEAH!). Amazed to swim relatively well even though I wasn't quite feeling it after 3 days off. The headache started after warmup, went away, came back with a venegance when I was in class. And my Nike suit's trim went from bright blue to green/gray in ONE swim - I mean suits fade anyway, but it was odd to see the color just sucked out of this one somewhere between the first stroke and the last. The new one should show up at Zach's house today though. (there is a long story behind this, which I may or may not tell...)
Anyway.

The name's Scott, I'm from Bangor, and I'm gonna be running my first Flattop race this Saturday. Hope to meet some of you there!
Today I ran 3.8 in a hair under 30 minutes. Good shorter run after my long one yesterday. If the wind stops blowing, it's actually quite nice out there. Spring is close, I can feel it!
to the madness
I'm an exercise science major at U Maine at Orono, I live on the island in the summer. And I only run so I look good in my swimsuit ;-)
I used to run just to keep shape for baseball but it's taken a life of its own. Now my dilemma is figuring out if I schedule running around baseball now or the other way around.
Thanks for the welcome! Madness and mayhem...sounds like I'll fit in okay here!
I'm a fish by trade, but one little Eden rascal got me hooked on triathlon a few years ago.
Baseball, huh? Cool.
Welcome to the mayhem.
Ahhhh, running and baseball....two of my favorite things!
Good to see you posting on the board. Things only really get a little crazy here when people are tapering. Look for the Eden table at Flat Top. We'll have gear for sale and some other information about the club.
here in Germany/Saarland. google 'dagstuhl' and you can see where I am or check out the pictures here....
Dagstuhl
It's like a computer science monestery; very sparse rooms with a small bed and worktable and chair...no TV or anything like that, teeny little bars of soap, and beer and wine 'on honor' in the lounge room to encourage conversations I guess. The rooms don't lock except from the inside. The big circle on the picture is the library, my room is on the left outside space.
place in a mid-70's Bond film. Bond only pretended to sip the wine offered in the lounge. That turned out to be a smart move.
It does look like a good place for a run in the snow. Enjoy!
Pepped it up a little and ran the last 3 in just over 22 minutes. I felt pretty iffy before I ran but it was OK once I got going. I probably had an Easter calorie hangover--it was good to burn some of them.
A 5 mile stroll with Vanessa and then a 3.2 mile spin on the ET.
Welcome Scott.
Gute nacht Judy!
this mill is advertised with endless features and made "for serious running" but I'm beginning to sense the folks that buy the Sole F-85 and rave about it probably are not using it very aggressively. It died around 5 miles tonight.I was at 2% incline 8.2 mph and it suddenly stopped without warning and the console locked up flashing on and off.Keys would not respond.F---- piece of s---.At least it's under warranty I'm close to getting a refund and it's springtime anyway time to move outdoors.
