road biking anyone

Again with the offer for Tues. on the road bike. I hope to log every tues on the road this spring. Any distance really, just need to be back by 3 pm. looking for time in the saddle here not so much speed efforts. Park loops or Cadillac climbs would suffice.

Past requests have gone unanswered but hope springs (in spring).
Athletics is more than running you know.

Dr. Dave,

when I'm on the island I'd love to come join you, though you are a FAR better cyclist than I and you'll probably have to slow down (or let me draft). Will be on MDI on May 18 and need to get some serious cycling in, the Moosey threat is looming

Not asking to ride

with you, because that would be ridiculous. One of my latest goals this summer is to climb the hill while pulling the girls in the bike trailer. It'll only be once, though. Maybe you could get four laps in while I'm trying; I promise to enthusiastically yell encouragement every time you pass me. : )

Hey, new idea. Maybe I'll make YOU pull my kids on a park loop jaunt so I can keep you in sight!

DrDave start times / bike

early starts would work for me. back by 10 am. could log 7 or 8 am to 10, start/stop at the lab for me. Maybe later if I could switch some things around... You could go around the Park Loop a second time...

How about 8am or a bit after on tues 6th?
If it's not pouring we could do a loop plus before ten.

tue morning bike/bike park pass

Hi Dave and Liddy, bummer I have a workman coming to the house tues morning. I'll be there May 13th. I hope cyclists of all speeds and conditions join in. For those that would drive to the start rather than ride to the Lab, how about parking at the Schooner Head overlook and we can start the ride from the lab down Schooner Head Road (for people like me that don't want to warm up on going up the Champlain shoulder). Anyway, then the groups can coelesce at the toll station. We will have to get our names on the Park Pass list at the booth. I'm not sure about that. I will drive through with my car this weekend and show them my car pass and make sure I'm on the list at the gate. I'll let you know how that goes. Last year, they wanted us to give them our name (at least until they recgnized us)
