Re; RUN MDI WEEKEND

That's a very impressive list of planned activities. Let me know how I can help. I should be able to make it to many of them.

I would like to suggest for the predicted mile contest at the track on Wed evening to have a 20 min tempo run first, starting at 5:30. This will allow runners to get a workout in and also help them with pacing for the mile contest, which would then start about 6p. If agreed, I'll put it on the calendar.

Get on the bus!

One more event... if you are looking for a cool run in a light rain late this afternoon...followed by a bit of calypso music.

Monday, July 21st

5:30 P.M. – Group run from Bass Harbor Campground to SWH – a “green” run – take the Explorer (4:54 bus from SWH Post Office) out to the start or have someone drop you off there. This run (about 6 miles, and for adults) will finish in enough time for folks to grab a bite to eat and hear Flash in the Pans at Pemetic School (7:30) – a fundraiser for both MDI Drug and Alcohol Abuse Group and Harbor House.
