EL (plus a tiny bit extra to make that even 6 miles) with CeCelia and DeLaney. A nice day for a run with my girls. :)

Saw lots of Eden folks, too! Bonus!

was out to run 8, but ran out of gas and walked er' in with Thomas. Today I went from running backwards on the hill- teasing Shannon, Bob, Julie, and Tom.... to moments later being passed on the hill by the double jogger. Pacing's a beautiful thing. Good times! Julie had fun getting me back.

Ya

I went nice and slow today as well. By the end Brian and Matt had about 45 seconds on me. I think I ran around the lake in about 42:38. Just need days like this once in a while. Just shows we are human and that if you're going to run fast races and workouts that some of the other days need to be really slow and at your own pace.

Nice Breakfast after with Autumn and Steve at 2 Cats with one of the cats sleeping next to Steve during most of the meal. Second breakfast for me since I eat before I run 6 at 6, but good stuff.

Wash, rinse, repeat

Besides the nice AM run with Steve, Matt, and Judson, I also got a big bag of clothes from Steve. These apparently are all of Team Eden's cast-off warm-ups from the Boston Marathon.

Bag's on my porch for now. Could drop it at the track tomorrow, if someone there wants to receive it. Shannon?

Think, included, there's some stuff of Evan's -- memorabilia whose EBay value will only increase.

Stuff

I'll bid on Evan's stuff!!!

7 at noon

7.12mi, 59:09. Ran with RK and did 8:20's pretty much the whole way for the exception of a strong half-mile to finish. A bit warm out there.

7M Bangor

much of it at conversational pace with spotter, except at the end - Yeeasch!

8 Bridges, 8 miles

OK, that's the Aunt Betty, 7 Bridges, EL loop - but there were 8 bridges along the way and I was mighty happy about getting up the 1st 6. Great run with the group Ginger mentioned and also got to see Bob & Becky Carroll, Sara, & Amy N. Beautiful day with great company. I even had critter sightings - 2 deer and a frog. Nice to meet CeCelia & see Suzanne. Life is good in the woods.

A belated "Happy Anniversary" to Shannon & Danson and a slightly early "Happy Anniversary" to Bob & Becky, who got married at the top of Cadillac a few short years ago.

4 miles....

nice and easy in the pigfarm road

6 miles

various modes.

I'm told that the Beijing 2008 Opening Ceremonies and the Eden Track Festival will have one thing in common... a giant inflatable carp arch!

8 miles

at the track, featuring 6 x 800s. Whew, it's been a while.

another 12 miles,core

start was delayed yet again because of this weird continued weather pattern.Suddenly the sky darkens around 6:00pm-7:00pm then heavy rain.Humid at 8:19pm start though a little cooler then last night so pace was a little faster.Nice improvements at Back Cove near the soccer field kickboard.Trees,shrubs,etc. and the running path is better then it's been in several years.Way overdue and hat-tip to Portland Trails.I'm sure they have heard from countless runners by now and I'll add to the list,Thank you awesome work keep it up.For a city running, cycling, walking area you can't go wrong.Back Cove is perfect and deserves to be maintained and upgraded consistently.
