What's your run?

5.57 miles

Nice and easy with CeCelia. Perfect temp, perfect run. :)

6mi

45:18. Ran the Kenduskeag Ave. loop from work. The sun stayed behind those clouds just long enough for me to complete it. Thank goodness because it's very humid up here.

4.5mi

With Mike McCauley and Samantha through rainy Bangor. 10.5 on the day.

15 miles

6 of it with Karen, which was nice. I felt great today.

Anyone want to watch the Bucksport 5k and watch 2 angelic little boys while I run on Sat.? I'll drive you.

Vanessa, thank you for all of your hard work with those wonderful pictures.

I've been so busy with kids, work and the running festival I haven't had time to post. I had a great time at the track festival. I really enjoyed all of the events I did, and felt good doing them. Frank, thanks for your dedication to the club, you do a great job.

5.7M in Lewiston

it was the *gang of 3* crusing the tricky streets of L-Town. They took me out to run the loop - It was like the bermuda triangle though - I don't ever remember making any turns.

6 miles....

I ended the run mdi weekend with Frank and Brian. Lot's of fresh cool air made for an enjoyable, faster run. Also took my first ride on the island explorer. Thanks Frank and all for a great weekend!

I saw you guys run by!

I was enjoying dinner at Head of the Harbor... with the folks, visiting sisters, Jimmy and DeLaney....

Ditto

Great way to end the extended weekend. Took the Explorer from the Village Green, met John and Frank in Southwest, and had an excellent 6-mile run from the Bass Harbor campground back through John's old neighborhoods to Harbor House.

Perfect temps and just enough drizzle at the end to dampen down the humidity. I finished with a cup of coffee at Harbor Treats as the stell drum band readied to warmup. For some unexplained reason, on the ride back the bus driver had a guitar on the bus dashboard and, when one embarking passenger expressed interest, the driver passed it over to him to play. So we were all treated to 45-minutes of acoustic blues on the return trip.

So, even on the bus, life is good.

That's pretty cool

Wish I'd been at the run and on the bus. : ) Four miles before work, when it was still pretty humid but I wasn't tearing it up pacewise, so it was fine. Biked to/from work, and there was an incredibly different air quality between them. It's absolutely beautiful out there now.

runs

6 at 6 this morning.

14.5 miles tonight with 11x2:30 downcycles near the end, no floats. went through 5 miles in 26:40. It got nice and muddy on the carriage roads with that rain. The whole way around eagle lake I only saw two runners, one was Lou.

Lincoln 5K: RESULTS

[Thanks, RK!]

Active recovery

My legs--actually my entire body--felt a little worse for wear after the busy weekend, so I hit the gym for a relaxed, low impact workout. I made it through a total of 35 minutes combined rowing and treadclimbing, enough to work up a sweat but not enough to further stress the batteries.

Nice ride along the Manset shore..

with Brian and John M. as John provided a historical narrative (house by house) of life along that stretch coast. Good temps for running and not much traffic until we had just about reached town. The bus was actually pretty full when we pulled out of SW and I thought perhaps that everyone was headed out for the run start. They missed a great run..

Flash in the Pans was great but I still wasn't able to convince them to play Fish Fry. High cadence.
