Get it done.
Lots of people running. Karen, Roxie and group and some people from DC.
Around about 37 minutes for the loop, Great running weather.
feeling gimpy, my right hip was sore so the no-impact llipse-thingie was good. Massage tomorrow! Hopefully that will help.
+ 2.5 mi run, gimpily.
in 44:45. Nothing spectacular, but it felt good.
Keep running!
Is Nora running the fun run at George Schaefer? I was wondering if she would be willing to hang out with my boys while I run. Hopefully they can't get into too much trouble in 19 min.
As with most of the Eden Series events, Nora will be one of the three legs of the finish line crew's timing tripod at the Schaefer race, so she'll be pretty busy.
WH/PH on another beautiful morning complete with blueberry stops. That "x 2" is due to Vanessa walking with me - not because I did it twice.
Ginger, the mischief limit is 18 mins. You are just going to have to pick it up a mite.
Life is good in the woods.
at the YMCA, weights and a yoga class to round out the morning.
around Bangor with RK. 43 minutes
someone thought wiser of not taking the rotary tangent today.
has some insane drivers in it, many of whom never seen a rotary before, or at least drive like they've never seen one before.
...for some stress relief. This morning I was dealt yet another blow, in what is shaping up to be the most trying year of my life. Sorry to be such a downer. :(
your way. You are a very strong and awesome person and whatever is going on, you will get through with grace.
love Alyie
Thank you so much. That means a lot.
So sorry to hear.
I don't know all your challenges, but I can say I'm right there with you regarding this being an awful year overall. One can only have faith that better times await. Hang in there.
I meant to tell you, I saw a really awesome photo of you with medals on....from the Track Festival? It was great.
I know you've had a tough year too, and I'm with you in hoping for better times ahead.
Great group out there (Ginger, Brian, Peter, Lou, Vanessa, Shannon, Mark, Jean, OJ, Mary). Enjoyed the mile repeats with Shannon & Kev. I like it when they get faster and a bit easier as they go - though I only did 3. The cool weather was a blessing. Life is good in the woods and at the track.
Had a ton of energy and made good use of it.
10 x 400 w/200m recovery, goal of 93: 91, 93 92, 93 93, 93 91, 91 90, 90
4 x 200 w/200m recovery, goal of 43: 43, 43 43, 42
1mi warmup, 600m cooldown.
1 m w/u, 5 one mile repeats w/ 200 meter jog in between. I was running between 1:53 and 1:56 for the 400's, so I guess that's somewhere between 7:30 and 7:40 pace for the repeats. Thank goodness for the cool weather.
Y 10K course, w/o a watch but progressively faster. Then, later, paced Peter at the track for a couple of 5:49 miles (well within his abilities) and finished off on my own with (4)x 200s @32.
Cooled down with a nice school board meeting afterward.
Good to see everyone at the track.
The cool weather sure felt good at the track. Ran a 4 x 1 mile w/200 jog threshold workout that turned into a progression workout: 6:29, 6:27, 6:24, 6:12. Tried to run the 200s in between at a steady pace to shorten the recovery. I feel like I'm definitely getting stronger at quicker paces. Maybe those #$%$^*@& fast 200s are beneficial after all.
