Keep the fun in your run!

Fun 5

Enjoyed a pleasant trot from EL to Bubble & back with a new friend, Karen, and pretty sure I got to see Sara and Amy on their way out. It is always good to see Vanessa at the finish, who had run 3. Life is good in the woods.

40 min ...

...nice and easy with CeCelia. Coach said I could do some light running as long as I don't go crazy.

How hilly is the 5K course this weekend? I am considering running it for fun pushing DeLaney.

10k row

41:42

9 miles

great run. I enjoyed running with Sara and Amy for a few miles. Suzanne, the course is flat:)

Silly questions

How do you get there? How long does it take the get there?

1 hour

maybe. You could follow me, I should be able to get us there.

Cool

I'll let you know for sure tomorrow. I ended up making a Dr. appointment for my leg for tomorrow. My varicose veins seem to have gotten worse in my right leg, and when I run it almost feels numb and tingly. Weird. Decided today I should have it checked out since this started about week before B2B...

GINGER!!!!

Now that you're Athlete of the Week will we minions still get a chance to run with you????

Congratulations on the distinction! Great job at B2B!

I don't know....

my manager wants me to stay on the low until the press simmers down a bit.

so you weren't kidding

about being on the cover of Runners World then :D

Congrats Ginger!

I think it's great that they recognized the progress you've made the past few years. Your email box must be jammed with fan mail today; the weekly update I sent out this morning to all our members bounced back. Undeliverable..no room in your mail box!

Congratulations Ginger!

Awesome!

Thanks, girlies

:)

Although, I think you both deserve it more than me. Julie, for an outstanding 5k performance! Suzanne, for a year of massive pr's! Your 10k pr at Orrington must have been massive. I can't even imagine running a 10k under 48 min.:)

6 Miles Today

around Eagle Lake with Marion, Poppy and Buck. Great fun being back out there:D

Holly

Glad to see you back! I hope your injuries have gone far, far away!

Thanks Julie

I am being very cautious and doing lots of stretching--I do not want to be out this long again!

4+

Nice easy 4+ around witch hole, Paradise hill.

Day off

Just taking some rest, even though the legs still feel good.

I've been looking at the website for the Maple Leaf Half Marathon. I might consider running it.

Also I decided (well, it was suggested to me anyway) that my long run on Sunday will be 3 loops around eagle lake. I'm looking to get there around 8-9AM if anyone decides to go.

Spotter...if you come at 8:00 on Sunday

you'll have some Eden company for part of your long run. You may even get talked in to starting off by doing the tri-lake (Eagle, Bubble, Jordan) loop. Then you'll just need to tack on 7 miles..

80 minutes...

...on trails and out and back to the toll station. Call it 10mi. nice and easy. Traffic on the Loop is getting heavier and the Precipice Trail is open again.

6 miles...

Thru the pigfarm-seawall picnic area loop. The campground is full of campers cooking lot's of yummy food! Ran With Scott F. Nice and cool this evening, ran a little faster than usual. Felt great.

Gym day

Rowed 3k and ran 4 miles easy. These low pressure combined workouts seem to work quite well for me on the days after long runs or speed work.

Walked 3 miles

Bob & I walked 3 miles around Orchard Park. We started out in the rain what a nice morning. I think we picked up 50 cents in cans.

Good to see you posting & ...

... enjoying those walks in the rain. We miss you both.

track

10x1000 with 200 jog rest with Matt H as it got dark.

Just a little quicker than what's comfortable, more boring than a workout.

Calais International 5mile race

Just a note to those who are thinking of running in Calais on Saturday. The race starts at 9am BUT the registration closes at 8am due to the fact the race director has to get a list of all runners to the customs to be checked out. The best of luck to everyone who is racing...have fun and take care

Thanks

I'll be there good and early. Course record is 25:13 held by a Canadian. America gets it back on Saturday, yee haa. I'm even going to wear my USA flag shorts and a cowboy hat.

And what a wild race, 9am start in the US, then you run over to Canada where it's 10am, then you run back to the US where it's 9am. So you go into the future, then back again. Way cool.

Well

Fire up the DeLorian and don't forget to take Doc with you.

Good luck up there, make America proud. I almost decided to go to this but family wants to see me run on my birthday and some of them can make it to Birch Harbor but not Calais, so Schaefer run it is. :)

Cool

Schaefer is a great race, I hate to miss it, but I've never run this race in Calais and who knows how long it will last.

Get ready for a 5-k PR, the course is pretty flat.

5 miles in NH

This afternoon to clear my head a bit. On a hilly route I have run many, many times before. Used to be my standard run I would do after work a couple of times a week.

Spent the morning getting last minute items for the bike race; a new saddle, gels, gatoraid, batteries, extra lube for the bike, extra lube for the chamois;) , and a new rain shell. It's looking like it will continue to rain through the weekend here but you never know.

Going up to the event site tomorrow to set up the campsite, stage some gear, and pre-ride the course. The race starts at high noon on saturday.

just keep thinking

"I has BIKE!"

;-)

Have an awesome time, it sounds like a cool event.

I haz BIKE

I woke up pretty psyched this morning. As my friend SpongeBob says, "I'm Ready, I'm Ready, I'm Ready, Ready, Ready".

Always good

to wake up psyched! Have a blast this weekend, can't wait to hear about it!
